The Social Work’s Intervention Study On Autistic Children’ Social Communication Disorders

This phenomenon about autistic child has attracted more and more attention of the society.Medicine, psychology and pedagogy and other disciplines around the rehabilitation of this group has been a considerable body of research,However, the research on the social work in mainland China is still relatively little in this field.And existing studies are mostly confined to start from the social support aspect of autistic children and their families.There is no doubt that the ultimate goal of the rehabilitation of children with autism is to help them adapt to the society successfully, and to complete the socialization of children with autism.Therefore, this study will focus on the obstacles placed in the social interaction of autistic children, and trying to contribute academic advantages from social work in this regard.The main part of this paper has been based on the study of children with autism,four children with autism were involved for three month by using case work and group work in social work in the study,and design of specific intervention programs for different levels of four autistic children.Finally, through the evaluation of the intervention effect,we found that autistic children’s emotional control ability, cognitive ability, self-care ability, social communication ability has a certain degree of improvement.and stereotyped behavior,emotional impulses and other problem behaviors are improved.Autism Child Behavior Checklist measurements showed that the degree of autism has also been reduced.The last part is to discuss the depth of the intervention methods in social work.And noted that specific training in this study used in play therapy, music therapy and other methods can not be fully replicated.Its applicability problem must be alert to the social workers.In addition,the lack of this research has been reflected,limited by various objective and subjective factors,the mechanism of the existing management system to a certain extent also affected the effectiveness of social work intervention.Finally, the researchers put forward some opinions about the social work intervention in the treatment of children with autism.First of all, social workers should adhere to the principle of value of acceptance and respect, and maintain equal status with autistic children.Second, increase the fun activities to ensure the participation and enthusiasm of the autistic children’s activities; finally, create a social worker for children with autism in addition should be committed to supporting environment,to provide the conditions for autistic children rehabilitation of the real significance.
