The Research Of Livelihoods Vulnerability Of The Sole Daughter Farmers

The sole daughter farmers were the model carrying out the family planning policy that made a great contribution to Chinese family planning policy. Now,the parents who had only daughter have aged gradually.At the same time, their daughter get married and no longer live with them, and they became the empty nest elderly who may encounter the various risks,such as, no one to support and care in the future life. As we know, lack of the risk resistance ability, their life would be difficult and fragile. The problem deserves more our attention.This article deals with the literature research achievement on livelihood vulnerability by document retrieval, categorization and analysis. Then, the article analyses the current living situation by the sustainable livelihoods analysis framework and estimates the aspect that the livelihood vulnerability of the sole daughter farmers may encounter via the current situation and the relevant data. Finally, the article presents that builds the aid system to improve the living condition of the sole daughter farmers and achieves the sustainable development. The article consists of five chapters and its main part is the third and the fourth chapter. The first chapter introduces the research background, the research significance,the research summary, the research methods. The second chapter explains and defines the theoretical basis and relevant concepts. The third chapter mainly analyzes the current living situation of the sole daughter farmers in the research area. The fourth chapter estimates the livelihood vulnerability of the sole daughter farmers by the sustainable livelihoods analysis framework and specific livelihood capital index and concludes that the sole daughter farmers has the vulnerability on financial capital, social capital and care capital. The fifth chapter puts forward the livelihood aid system of the sole daughter farmers based on the analysis conclusion.
