With the growing concern from Communist Party and our nation paid to physical work, students and their parents haven placed higher expectation to the physical education of school. Leaders and physical teachers of the school have been exploiting new prospects actively. To bring in the activities which are cater to popular taste, and increase the participation of students in the uttermost degree is the most effective form in the reform of school physical work. In numerous physical exercise items, aerobics have been increasingly recognized by teachers and students because of its lively sports form, bright music accompaniment, as well as adjustable intensity and amount of exercise based on requirement. Now the aerobics have been set as significant content in physical curriculum of various sorts and levels of schools. However the research worthy of our research is how to bring aerobics into physical classes of schools and keep it developing smoothly. Because of that, this research object at the situation of the fifteen junior middle schools in carrying out of the aerobics in Haigang district of Qin Huangdao. From October,2014 to March,2015, we have visited and taken the investigation of several experts, physical teachers and students. According to the result of the research:1.there are extinct differences between male and female students in their affection to aerobics. The influential reason for their participation in the aerobics is their lack of knowledge in this activity.2. Within 15 junior middle schools of Hai Gang District, only 5 schools have set up aerobics course. The rate of setting up this course is low.3. The teaching content and teaching method are lack of variety, the teaching approach is traditional.4.Barely there is extra-curriculum training and competition of aerobics.5.The field and facilities of school could not fulfill the requirement of teaching aerobics.6. Among the investigated teachers, professional teachers graduated with the degree in aerobics of Hai Gang District, Qin Huangdao take the proportion of only 11%. The rate is low, and most teachers are non-professionals, who are not equipped with professional skills and abilities in teaching and research to qualify the work in aerobics, and still remain to improve.7. One of the significant reasons for the existence of the problem is that the schools attach less importance in aerobics.Based on the above result of the investigation, this paper proposed the suggestions accordingly:1.Enhance the recognition of students to the aerobics through physical classes and extra-curriculum activities of the school. Keep promoting and publicizing the activity of aerobics, clarify the aim of developing this activity, and increase the affection, knowledge, and participation of the students into aerobics. Accompanied with on-class promotion, popularize the activities of aerobics more broadly and effectively through competitions between different classes and grades. Arrange diverse teaching content, which could be favored by female students, and well accepted by male students.2.Bring in the course of aerobics into the evaluation of physical work of the school, which would advance the carrying out and popularization of aerobics as the formal curriculum in junior middle schools. Increase the number of aerobics teachers, and enhance their teaching abilities. When the aerobics develops into an activity with specialty of the school, it could be widely organized in junior middle schools. 3. Based on the psychological and physical characteristics of junior middle school students, give the latest and worthy content of exercises for junior middle school students in aerobics instruction with fully use of modern teaching technology and approaches. The class is supposed to be students-oriented. Develop students’ abilities in innovation and arrangement, and stimulate the initiative of students in learning aerobics. 4.Add the appraisal of self-composing aerobics into big breaks of junior middle schools in Hai Gang district of Qin Huangdao, which will greatly promote the extra-curriculum training of aerobics. Education departments of different levels are expected to hold aerobics contests regularly, perfect the contest system actively, and appropriately award the schools, teachers, as well as students, who participate the competitions actively. All schools exchange ideas through the contests, learning from each other’s strong points to offset their own weakness, which would put the development of extra-curriculum training and contest of aerobics into motion. 5.Attach importance of perfecting the site facilities, in order to offer a favorable environment to the development of aerobics in the junior middle schools. 6. The aerobics teachers are supposed to attend the training or contests regularly, in order to increase their opportunities to learn from other schools, and update the concept timely, as well as enhance their teaching level, and follow the development of aerobics. 7. The leaders of the schools are expected to change the educational concept, at the same time, to actively open up the aerobics courses, extra-curriculum activities, organize the aerobics training teams, encourage and support the teachers to learn the professional skills in aerobics on the job, improve the site facilities, foster the opening up of aerobics activities in the school. Hopefully, this paper could offer scientific evidence and theoretical reference to the popularization the aerobics, improvement of the teaching situation of aerobics courses, and development of aerobics sports of junior middle schools in Hai Gang district, Qin Huangdao.
