Development of Marine programs, strengthen the national ocean consciousness has become the consensus of all countries in the world and the strategic choice. As a builder motherland in the future, the cultivation of the college students’ ocean consciousness, education is related to China’s maritime rights and interests maintenance, relates to the success or failure of sea power strategy, relationship with the great revival of the Chinese nation, so it is very important to the cultivation of the college students.Based on the construction of Marine power as the background, the methods of literature research, questionnaire study about the present situation of the cultivation of the students in our country, and in this context to explore students’ ocean consciousness cultivating way.
