“Charter of the international geography†and the“ Ordinary High school Geography curriculum standard†have clearly put forward cultivating students’ practice ability, expanding students’ comprehensive quality, and improving scientific literacy. The goal is helping students adapt to society. Geography teaching in Senior High School is mainly about the relationship between human activity and geographical environment. Senior Geography curriculum knowledge connects with the compulsory education stage of knowledge. But the teaching methods in Junior High school is not suitable to the teaching in Senior High School, While the flexible and varied teaching methods are need for students to learn geography.Practice of high school geography extracurricular teaching is important in the teaching of geography. Research on the practice of high school geography extracurricular hope, from the reality, let people understand the traditional classroom teaching can not meet the students’ learning requirements, it needs to try hard from many aspects, to promote the implementation of the extracurricular teaching practice.The body of this article consists mainly of four parts: first, I will conclude that high school extracurricular activities of teaching and research background through literature study,significance, and introduce the articles of inquiry. Secondly, I will summarize the research on practice theory, summarize and analyze the geographical concept of extracurricular activities. Third, through questionnaires, interviews and other statistics in Shandong province high school, I will sum up the geography teaching problems in implementation of extracurricular activities, and analyze the difference between quality education and the traditional examination-oriented education, and put forward the implementation of extracurricular activities and teaching suggestions. Four, through the Charter of the international geography and geography teaching objectives in the curriculum standards of analysis, I will summarize the research in required textbook from Shandong Education press, PEP and China Cartographic Publishing House, and analyze the teaching case of successful extracurricular activities, and design the feasibility extracurricular activities and teaching case,and provide reference for future practice activities. |
