This research concerned about the following aspects for the penetration of food safety education in the high school biology teaching. First of all, this paper elaborates the definition of food safety and compares the current situation of food safety education in the developed countries with China. Secondly, the new curriculum reform in high school biology needs to improve the teaching efficiency, promote the healthy development of the students and high school biology teaching module design to prove the feasibility of permeating knowledge of food safety in high school biology teaching. Thirdly, biological teaching materials for high schools were found and analyzed the knowledge related to food safety education and provided connection for the penetration of food safety education. Fourthly, establishment of KAP(Knowledge, Attitude and Practice)questionnaire to understand the situation of current students’ food safety knowledge, behavior, attitude, and so on. The students of Dongjiang Middle School lack the related knowledge at present, bad behavior and attitude are widespread. Fifthly, based on the current situation of students and the principle of biological teaching, the methods of teaching should follow the knowledge from real life, stick to the teaching material and the reasonable distribution of time and comply with the laws of students’ physical and mental to guide students to actively participate in teaching. By food safety knowledge education, we want to improve the ability of students.After one term of teaching, the result showed that students had certainly been improved the food safety knowledge, behavior and attitude tended to the positive aspects and development. The research showed that penetrating food safety education during biology teaching of high school needed to be feasible and effective. Due to the sample quantity of the survey was small and permeate the teaching time was short, the students’ food safety education still needed to be promoted. In order to solve this problem, the paper suggested that teachers and students should involve actively in the food safety education and promote the healthy development of students. |
