Poetry is one of the most important ancient Chinese style, in the history of Chinese literature plays an important role can not be ignored. Colorful works of poetry is an important part of our excellent traditional culture, how conscious learning this valuable heritage heritage is always a good student, a teacher must face and try to solve the real problem. In today’s language teaching, although the teacher of ancient poetry were a sufficient amount of explanation, after-school students have done a lot of aspects of classical poetry appreciation exercises, but the student of poetry interpretation and comprehension ability is still not satisfactory. Therefore, how to improve high school students, especially for Chinese classical poetry appreciation, is still the secondary language education needs to be a further problem to solve. This article is based on the actual experience of teaching poetry, poetry of high school students on how to cultivate the ability to appreciate the problem, from the aesthetic qualities of poetry, poetry appreciation teaching requirements and examine the main content of the status quo of ancient poetry teaching high school, improve their ability to appreciate the four strategies were discussed, aimed at finding feasible ways to appreciate the ability of students. In order to better understand the real situation of teaching classical poetry, so more targeted research, part of my high school students conducted a survey, and find some problems in teaching. Teaching strategies in part,to address these issues, I propose a solution that would benefit the teaching of ancient poetry in high school to help make students more classical poetry appreciation, can really appreciate the charm of classical poetry.
