Recently, with the advent of the era of knowledge economy, the society is calling for the emergence of new talent. What does the modern society needs is a talents with powerful thinking ability, who is also comprehensive qualified for many kinds of situations.Therefore, the cultivation of critical thinking is getting attention increasingly. Critical talent is a man who has independent personality and the spirit of freedom, so training students' critical thinking should also be the focus of education. Critical thinking is a complicated topic, contains many aspects, but the ethos is same,that is the critical spirit and the powerful practice caution to research. Such qualities, can't just rely on the cultivation of specialized courses, but should also be a kind of education idea and exists in every corner of education.Historically, the development of critical thinking is a slow process. And the process of how to cultivate the critical thinking is as long as it. There are varied way to cultivate the critical thinking ,it has different characteristics in different areas. In Chinese, critical thinking is a kind of independent opinions about the text and qualities of question. This trait, students can't have it naturally , neither teachers can teach, but the joint efforts of all involves in the teaching activities can make it. Chinese subject is thought to be an irrational subject, rational thinking is seems doesn't to be needed here. However, a lot of emotional experience and aesthetic process actually requires rigorous thinking as a guide, so that the teaching can train thinking.Text is the main teaching objects in Chinese and it is suited to cultivate students' critical thinking. Text contains the emotional logic, not without a trace to be found, not optional penned classic, but can through summing up and reasoning to be felt. However, today's teaching, for a variety of reasons, most of the time doesn't carry out the cultivation of critical thinking. This exists especially in the classical poetry appreciation. Classical poetry, as the classic content of Chinese teaching, plays an important role in Chinese class. The particularity of its text organization form makes it possible to cultivate students' critical spirit. However, classical poetry in the classroom, many times do not penetrate the spirit of critical thinking. On the contrary, it is conservative, no innovation, just echo what the books say. Whether teachers or students, or other participants in teaching activities, are based on the critical spirit of poetry appreciation and insufficient attention.The reading and appreciation of classical poetry can not only be based on emotion, but should be the reader to collect information and process information in the text. This process is permeated with questioning and reflection, independent and independent. However, in today's teaching, the teaching methods of teachers, the students too much faith in the book and the teacher,the traditional doctrine of the mean and other stubborn problems hinder the growth of critical thinking. In order to solve these problems, it is not enough to start from a certain point of view, but to examine and reform all the factors in the teaching activities. This paper mainly explores the feasibility of cultivating critical thinking in the teaching of classical poetry appreciation,and how to implement it. This paper puts forward some opinions and suggestions from the aspects of teachers' personal quality, teaching activities and students' individual growth. The purpose of the study is to emphasize the importance of critical thinking in the teaching of classical poetry,analyze the existing problems, and provide ideas for solving the problems. The cultivation of critical thinking is a complex and difficult process, only from the point of view of classical poetry appreciation, only to broaden the way of cultivating critical thinking.
