In Chinese language teaching, grammar teaching should be the same as other teaching, as in this field it should have its own position. ‘ The unity of instrumental and humanism" is the nature of Chinese course. As a Chinese course instrument, it reflects the importance of grammar teaching, so it is necessary for it to have a right position. In teaching practice, we should give the place of the grammar teaching it must have, and we must know the importance of grammar teaching. Because Sue does not open grammar teaching unit alone in Chinese textbooks for middle school students, Chinese Grammar are not included in the examination, which makes many teachers not pay attention to grammar teaching. However, students in high school have to learn a lot of grammar in Chinese, such as the writings in classical style, the special sentence patterns, the change of parts of speech function judgment and so on, which makes it more difficult for students to master the Chinese Grammar. As a matter of fact, if students want to catch the examination site, they must master a certain number of grammar knowledge. Grammar knowledge plays an important part in the college entrance examination, so the topic of the college entrance examination involves grammar a lot, such as pragmatically, understanding, poetry, classical Chinese reading, composition, etc. And these subjects require students should have solid knowledge of grammar foundation. Besides, these questions in learning are difficult. Therefore, the weakest point in tests is the teaching of classical Chinese grammar. Writings in classical style teaching is always the emphasis and difficulty of Chinese teaching, so if students want to swallow it, the precondition is to understand the grammar. However, in the actual teaching of classical Chinese, there are many difficulties. Investigating its reasons, it is mainly because we put no emphasis on grammar teaching. If students’ grammar knowledge is not good, it directly increases the difficulties of learning classical Chinese. The grammatical knowledge of classical Chinese and modern Chinese grammar is mutual, and we must use the interactive way of teaching classical Chinese and modern Chinese. Because it not only can eliminate the fear of the students to study the classical style, but also can make it easier for the students to easily understand and master the common meaning of classical Chinese content words and function words and special sentence patterns. What’s more, it still can make the students have a deeper understanding of the structure and meaning in the modern Chinese words. This thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter, mainly through the way of questionnaire survey, is to analyze the present situation of the high school Chinese grammar teaching, and tries to find out the cause of the status. The second chapter focuses on the role of grammar in Chinese writings in classical style teaching in high school and the analysis of grammar about classical Chinese reading in the college entrance examination. The third chapter for the problem is to find some methods and rules in practice to solve these problems. Finally, the thesis draws its conclusion.
