Among many psychological factors, interest has a strong emotion and strongguidance to encourage people to fully mobilize and focus on to accomplish theactivity. In the process of knowledge acquisition, the study interest is the most activeingredient in the study motivity. Under the drive of keen interest, students canaccomplish their study smoothly to obtain the inner satisfaction, rather than seeing itas a burden in order to achieve expected learning outcomes. The formation andcultivation of the psychological factors, not innate, need to have many factors toculture through a variety of educational system. Interest in learning history canstimulate students to carry out study activities and promote them to achieve certainlearning goals in the process of learning. History learning requires students shouldmaintain a certain learning interest in history study because it can promote health ofstudents, develop students’ sound personality, improve the students’ cognitive abilityto distinguish right and wrong and cultivate qualified citizens. But it is in presentteaching and learning practice that led to our students’ interest universally low inlearning history because of the historical status of discipline, textbook compilation,teaching methods and other factors. Therefore, In reality and guidance, it is a strongsubject how to stimulate, develop and maintain students’ interest in learning of history.Based on the situation of high school students’ history learning, this study analized byquestionnaire and interview data, summarized in the present teaching situation ofhistorical interest in learning, put forward teaching strategies and make full use of theexperience of the same professions to improve students’ learning interest in historythrough practice and reflections.
