The Influence Of The College Students’ Reading Style To The Career Planning And Life Satisfaction

Reading therapy that mental illness can be treated by reading, improve people’s happiness and satisfaction. Therefore, the study of reading has been a hotspot in the research of the psychology. Based on the predecessors on the basis of literature research, puts forward the concept of reading style, and on the basis of literature review and interview, and constructed the theoretical framework of college students’ reading style, and compiled the questionnaire of college students’ reading style, and as a tool, combined with the self management career planning questionnaire(ICMQ) and life satisfaction scale(SWLS), surveyed 221 undergraduate subjects, investigates the present situation of college students’ reading style and college students’ reading style influence on the psychological development of college students’ career development planning management level as well as the college students’ life satisfaction level. According to the above research results, get the following main conclusions:(1) The college students’ reading style questionnaire including the type of reading, reading, reading methods, reading habits, four dimensions questionnaire structure to verify the rationality of the theory of reading style building.(2) The college students’ reading style questionnaire has good reliability and validity, can be used as an effective tool for the college students’ evaluation of reading style.(3) The different sex, different disciplines, different grade of university students there were significant differences in the overall style of reading. The boy reading style score significantly lower than girls; Students of literature and history of the style of reading students of polytechnic significantly higher scores; Freshman in reading style, the overall score significantly higher than that of senior students and master degree and above in college students; This shows that, compared to girls and boys reading more and better reading habits, reading more prefer recreation class reading and paper reading way; Compared with students of polytechnic students of literature and history, reading more and better reading habits, reading more preference to recreation class reading and paper reading way; Freshman and senior college students, the master’s degree or more than reading more and better reading habits, reading more preference to recreation class reading and paper reading way;(4) The management level of college students’ career planning and college students life satisfaction and style and its between various dimensions are closely related, and college students’ reading style could significantly predict students’ career planning and life satisfaction. 28.2% of the variability of the college students’ career planning can be read style interpretation; College students’ life satisfaction score of variability of 13.9% can be reading style.
