Clinical Observations On The Treatment Of Cervical Spondylopathy By Dazhui Blood-letting Puncturing And Cupping

Aim:To investigate the curative effect on cervical spondylopathy of Dazhui blood-letting puncturing and cupping plus cervical Jiaji acupuncture.To study the relations amount of bleeding and curative effect.To research syndrome of Dazhui blood-letting puncturing and cupping.Method:With random number table,60 patients of Cervical Spondylosis were divided into Dazhui blood—letting puncturing and cupping in combination with cervical Jiaji acupuncture group(treatment group)30 cases and cervical Jiaji acupuncture group(control group)30cases. Dazhui blood—letting puncturing and cupping in combination with cervical Jiaji acupuncture were selected in treatment group.Cervical Jiaji acupuncture was selected in control group.Treatment was given previous day,and a course included 6 treatments.With Clinical Assessmet Scale for Cervical Spondylopathy(CASCS),Index:(1) subjective symptom scale. (2) life,work and social adaptation ability scale.(3)joint and soft tissue characteristic scale.(4) nerve root bearing physical sign scale(upper limbs).(5) nerve root bearing physical sign scale (lower limbs).(6) gross score.Result:(1) After treatment the subjective symptom scale、joint and soft tissue characteristic scale and gross score were higher than those before treatment in treatment group(P＜0.01),there was statistic difference between before and after treating of life,work and social adaptation ability scale(P＜0.05),but there were no significant difference before and after treatment to the nerve root bearing physical sign scale(upper limbs) and nerve root bearing physical sign scale(lower limbs)(P＞0.05).(2) There was obvious improvement to gross score after treatment in control group (P＜0.01),there was statistic difference between before and after treating of subjective symptom scale,joint and soft tissue characteristic scale(P＜0.05),but there were statistic no difference between before and after treating of life,work and social adaptation ability scale, the nerve root beating physical sign scale(upper limbs) and nerve root bearing physical sign scale(lower limbs)(P＞0.05).(3) There were no difference before treatment in 6 fields of the scale between control group and treatment group(P＞0.05).Subjective symptom scale、joint and soft tissue characteristic scale and gross score of after treating in treatment group were higher than those of control group(P＜0.01).Life,work and social adaptation ability scale of after treating in treatment group was difference those of control group(P＜0.05).(4) There were highly correlation between curative effect and amount of bleeding.(5) After treatment the gross score in amount of bleeding＞7.5ml group were higher than those amount of bleeding＜7.5ml group(P＜0.01).(6) The change of the gross score of after treating showed difference between excess syndrome and deficiency syndrome(P＜0.05).Conclusion:(1) The Dazhui blood—letting puncturing and cupping treatment could significantly improve the subjective symptom、life、work and social adaptation ability、joint and soft tissue characteristic.(2) The cervical Jiaji acupuncture treatment also could change the subjective symptom and joint and soft tissue characteristic.The improvement of the subjective symptom, life,work and social adaptation ability,joint and soft tissue characteristic in treatment group were better than those of the control group.Letting puncturing and cupping in combination with cervical Jiaji acupuncture could obviously improve curative effect.(3) Large amount of bleeding by the Dazhui blood--letting puncturing and cupping could raise the cure rate well.(4) Especially the Dazhui blood—letting puncturing and cupping was fit for the patients with excess syndrome based on Chinese medical classification.
