The Curative Effect On The Treatment Of Nerve-root Cervical Spondylopathy Of Blood Stasis Type By The Adjunct Points Of Xi-Cleft Point And Jiaji Points

ObjectiveTo investigate the efficacy of adjunct points of Xi-Cleft point and Jiaji points for acute cervical spondylopathy of blood stasis type after electroacupuncture.MethodsSixty patients were enrolled from the clinic of Guangzhou university of TCM.They are all consistent with the inclusion criteria of cervicalspondylotic radiculopathy.They were randomly divided into two groups: treatment group and control group.Treatment group adopted electroacupuncture treatment of adjunct points of Xi-Cleft point and Jiaji points(Huizong, the Xi-Cleft point of the Sanjiao meridian of Hand-Shaoyang,Yanglao,the Xi-Cleft point of the Small Intestinal meridian of Hand-Taiyang,Wenliu,the Xi-Cleft point of the Large Intestinal meridian of Hand-Yangming as main points in cooperation with Jiaji points);Control group adopted routine acupuncture treatment.The frenquency of treatment are five times a week,two weeks were a course of treatment.After one continuous course treatment,we evaluated the clinical therapeutic effect.The curative effect on pain was evaluated by the Visual Analog Scale(VAS).The efficacy was measured with Self-designed Symptoms and Signs Quantized Integration.Results1.The difference of therapeutic effects between two groups had no statistical significance,by taking Ridit analysis,P＞0.05.The significantly effective rate(63.33%)of treatment group was higher than the general acupuncture group(40.00%),P＜0.05.The difference of significantly effective rate between two groups had statistical significance.2.Before treatment,there were no statistical significant differences in the score of Visual Analog Scale(VAS)between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the VAS score was 4.83±1.44,respectively,in the treatment group and 5.70±1.58,respectively,in the treatment group.After a T test,it is indicated that it had statistical significance in the curative effect in both two groups(P＜0.05).3.Before treatment,there were no statistical significant differences in the score of Self-designed Symptoms and Signs Quantized Integration between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the score was 19.03±4.45 in the treatment group and 21.60±4.30 in the treatment group.After a t test,it is indicated that it had statistical significance in the curative effect in both two groups(P＜0.05).ConclusionThe acupuncturing therapy of adjunct points of Xi-Cleft point and Jiaji points was a better way to relieve the pain of the patients of the nerve root cervical spondylosis.The life quality of the patients of the nerve root cervical spondylosis was improved with the pain relieved.The clinical effect of acupuncturing adjunct points of Xi-Cleft point and Jiaji points was better than that of acupuncturing routine points.Acupuncturing adjunct points of Xi-Cleft point and Jiaji pointsmaybe one important way to treating nerve root cervical spondylosis...
