Transient Effect Of Dazhui Blood-letting Puncturing And Cupping For Abnormality In Vertebralbasilar Artery Flow Velocity By Cervical Spondylosis

Objective:To observe the transient effect of Dazhui blood--letting puncturing and cupping for abnormality in vertebral-basilar artery blood flow velocity by cervical spondylosis,with Transcranial Doppler(TCD)and the evaluation scale for cervical vertigo.So we could find a objective guideline for the treatment of this disease.Method:Choosing 40 cases of patients for abnormality in vertebral-basilar artery blood flow velocity by cervical spondylosis.According to random number table 40 cases were randomly divided into 2 groups:Dazhui blood--letting puncturing and cupping(observer group)20 cases,cervical Jiaji acupuncture(control group)20 cases.Dazhui blood—letting puncturing and cupping was selected in observer group. Cervical Jiaji acupuncture was selected in control group.Index:(1) Transcranial Doppler(TCD):Vs,Vm,Vd,PI,RI.(2)clinical symptom scoring table,and record score.Result:(1)35 cases showed significant increased and 5 cases showed decreased in the blood flow velocities of the vertebral-basilar arteries"VBA"(checked by TCD) in 40 cases.(2) The change of the before and after treating of blood flow velocity vs of VBA showed insignificant difference in observer groups(P＜0.01).There was a statistical significance between before and after treamnent of blood flow velocity vs of VBA in control grorp(P＜0.05).There were statistic signficant of difference after treating of blood flow velocity of Vs of VBA in two methods,the observer group was better than the control group(P＜0.05).(3) There were statistic highly signficant difference between before and after treating of blood flow velocity vm of VBA in observer group(P＜0.01).There were a statistical signifcance between before and after treamnent of blood flow velocity vm of VBA in control grorp(P＜0.05).There were statistic signficant of difference after treating of blood flow velocity of Vm of VBA in two methods,the observer group was better than the control group(P＜0.05).(4) There were statistic highly signficant difference between before and after treating of blood flow velocity Vd of VBA in observer group(P＜0.01).There were a statistical significance between before and after treamnent of blood flow velocity Vd of VBA in control grorp(P＜0.05).There were not statistic signficant difference after treating of blood flow velocity Vd of VBA in two groups(P＞0.05).(5) There were no statistic signficant difference between before and after treating ofPI、RI in two groups(P＞0.05).(6) There were statistic difference between before and after treating of vertigo degree、neck and shoulder pain、headache scale、nausea for cervical vertigo in the both groups(P＜0.05).Vertigo degree、headache scale、neck and shoulder pain score of after treating in the observer group were statistic difference those of the control group(P＜0.05),but nausea and uncomfortable symptoms with head extending score of after treating in the observer group were no statistic difference those of the control group(P＞0.05).Conclusion:(1) Examined with TCD,the result showed that the blood flow rate in VBA increased abnormally for the most sufferer belong to cervical spondylosis of vertebrobasilar insufficiency.(2) The treatment of both groups could significantly improve the blood flow velocity of VBA in both groups,but the blood flow velocity of Vs and Vm of VBA in the observer group were better than those of the control group,Vd of VBA in the observer group were not better than those of the control group.(3) The treatment can’t effect elasticity conformance of blood vessel in both groups.(4) The Dazhui blood—letting puncturing and cupping treatment could significantly improve degree,neck and shoulder pain and headache of vertigo of the patients.(5) Blood—letting puncturing and cupping treatment was simple、save time、safe and easily accepted by patients.
