Research Objective: Treat pain, activities of daily living(ADL), and range of motion(ROM), muscle force and so on as observational indexes, to discuss the therapeutic effect of the three following methods on 30 students with rotator cuff injury: low-cycle and microwave combined treatment, electro-acupuncture and microwave combined treatment, and electro-acupuncture and low-cycle combined treatment. Among the three methods, the most suitable one has been chosen for curing rotator cuff injury, with corresponding scientific basis provided. Meanwhile, the relatively convenient and feasible therapeutic regimen has been suggested.Research Methods: Select 30 students as the experiment objects according to the medical standards and definitions for rotator cuff injury and randomly divide them into three groups, with ten students in each group. The first group was for the low-cycle and microwave combined treatment. The second group was for the electro-acupuncture and microwave combined treatment. And the third group was for the electro-acupuncture and low-cycle combined treatment. The treatment method for the first group was mainly: apply the HAT-2000 warm low-cycle and microwave combined equipment made in Korea. During the treatment, put two derivatives of negative polarity on the ailing area of the patients. Put the positive pole onto the right middle of the back of the neck. Adjust the equipment to the temperature that can make the patients feel comfortable(28℃~32℃). Once a day. One week for a course of treatment. One day off every weeks. After treated by the low-cycle equipment, apply the microwave treatment on the aching area for 20 minutes. The course of treatment is the same as the low-cycle. For the electro-acupuncture and microwave combined treatment group: main acupuncture points: Jianyu, Jianzhen, Jianjing, Tunru. Matching acupuncture points: Tiaokou, Chenshan, Quchi, Ashi. Apply electrical stimulation of different wavebands to the main acupuncture points. Once a day. One week for a course of treatment. One day off every weeks. Continuously get the treatment for a month, which is just the same as the first group. For the electro-acupuncture and low-cycle combined treatment: the electro-acupuncture treatment method is the same as that in the second group. And the low-cycle treatment method is the same as that in the first group. Use the electro-acupuncture first and then low-cycle. The course of treatment is the same as the first two groups.Research Results: By calculating the inter-class variance of the data of the three groups and T-comparison, the result showed that during the whole treatment process, the individual index of pain, ADL, ROM and muscle pain have all significantly increased(P<0.05). The result proved that the three treatment methods all have positive effect on the patients. The comparison among the three methods of the low-cycle and microwave combined treatment, the electro-acupuncture and microwave combined treatment and the electro-acupuncture and low-cycle combined treatment all showed statistical significance. The difference is significant(P<0.05).Research Conclusion:(1) The three methods of the low-cycle and microwave combined treatment, the electro-acupuncture and microwave combined treatment and the electro-acupuncture and low-cycle combined treatment all have positive effect on the patients. Moreover, the electro-acupuncture and low-cycle combined treatment has the best outcome, which is better than that of the other two methods.(2) Three above-mentioned treatment methods are all convenient, affordable, and efficient. Therefore, they are popular with the patients and are often used in exercise and fitness activities.
