Objective: To observe the pain relief, shoulder joint function improvement and recovery degree of rotator cuff in patients with Qi stagnation and blood stasis type rotator cuff tears treated by acupuncture combined with joint mobilization, and to explore a simple, safe and effective treatment scheme,so as to provide new treatment ideas for clinic. Methods: 60 patients with rotator cuff injury of Qi stagnation and blood stasis type who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with acupuncture combined with joint mobilization, while the control group was treated with joint mobilization alone. The general information, injuries of rotator cuff tendons,JOA score of shoulder joint and thickness of rotator cuff tendons before and after treatment were recorded in detail in both groups, and the curative effect was evaluated after treatment.Statistical software SPSS20.0 was used to analyze the data, and the clinical efficacy of the two groups was analyzed according to the results.Result:1.Before treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups in general information,JOA score of shoulder joint, thickness of each tendon of bilateral rotator cuff and injury of each tendon of affected rotator cuff(P>0.05).2.Comparison of clinical efficacy between the two groups: After 3 weeks of treatment,16 cases were cured,13 cases improved, and 1 case not cured in the treatment group, the cure rate was 53.33%,and the total effective rate was 96.67%.In the control group,9 cases were cured,16 cases improved,5 cases were not cured, the cure rate was 30%,and the total effective rate was 83.33%.Statistical analysis showed that there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),indicating that the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with joint loosening was better than that of joint loosening.3.Comparing the JOA score of shoulder joint before and after treatment in the two groups: The JOA score of shoulder joint after treatment in the two groups was significantly different from that before treatment(P<0.05),indicating that both methods can effectively improve the JOA score of shoulder joint in patients. The difference between the two groups was significant(P<0.01),which showed that acupuncture combined with joint mobilization had an advantage over the control group in improving JOA score of shoulder joint.4.After treatment, the thickness of rotator cuff tendons in the two groups were compared: the thickness of the affected side of supraspinatus, infraspinatus and subscapularis tendons in the two groups after treatment was significantly different from that before treatment(P<0.01);the thickness of the affected side of teres minor tendons in the two groups after treatment was significantly different from that before treatment(P<0.05).After treatment, the thickness of the affected side tendon was compared between the two groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in the thickness of the affected side tendon and the healthy side(P<0.05).It showed that the two groups had curative effect on promoting the recovery of the rotator cuff tendon. The recovery of the affected side tendon tended to the healthy side, and the improvement of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.5.Safety analysis: The routine blood, urine and feces, liver function, kidney function, chest X-ray,shoulder X-ray and electrocardiogram of the two groups were monitored during the treatment, which showed that the two groups were safe.6.Conclusion: Acupuncture combined with joint mobilization can effectively improve shoulder joint function, relieve pain and promote the recovery of rotator cuff tendons in patients with rotator cuff injury of qi stagnation and blood stasis type.
