Objective:Based on the related document research of third-party medical dispute mediation, it shows that the current situation in our country can be learned and relevant experience at home and abroad can be concluded. Through the on-the-spot investigation, the correlative operation mode and the basic situation also can be found and the existing problems become obvious. Meanwhile, it’s helpful to the analysis of the subjective choice of doctor-patient on medical dispute processing way and the cognition of third-party medical dispute mediation in Guangdong. Besides, construct the third-party general flow chart of medical dispute mediation in Guangdong province and do some analysis involved in all parties between the problems and obstacles. Finally provide specific advices and strategies to make up for the defects of doctor-patient dispute prevention and treatment, What’s important is to improve the medical dispute resolution mechanism in our province and even the whole country.Methods:This paper combine the literature induction and contrast analysis method and summarized the present situation and the existing problems of third-party medical dispute mediation mechanism at home and abroad. Then provide some achievable mode operation characteristics and reference experience. On this basis, do some detail comparison and analysis on the third-party mediation/the traditional doctor-patient/the health administrative department processing and the people’s court litigation. Third, with the help of Guangdong medical committee platform, do some personal interviews for the related groups to get some important views and opinions of third-party mediation. Results:There are many problems on the research on the third-party mediation mechanism of medical disputes in Guangdong province. In terms of mediation organization, age and knowledge structure of mediators are unreasonable. Liquidity of mediation team is weak. Supervision mechanism is needed to be improved. And there are much obstacles on the third-party mediation of medical disputes between the parties. The insurance company operates loss. The court lack of medical professional knowledge. Appraisal institution need to improve efficiency. Hospital medical quality magagement was further improved. There are patients with legal consciousness and weak cognitive of third-party mediation. The scope of mediation is limited and mediate level and risk prevention work needs to be improved.Conelusion:There are some suggestions to solve the problems mentioned above. Appraisal institution should improve the mediation system and increase the volunteer work mechanism. A withdrawal system for mediators and accountability system should be set up. It’s important to strengthen institutional doctor-patient targeted risk prevention ability and enforce compulsory medical liability insurance and medical accident insurance. In order to ease the doctor-patient contradiction, connection channel on related departments should be established.
