The Analysis Of Medical Disputes Current Situation And The Third Party Mediation In A Tertiary Hospital Of Jilin

Objective:In recent years, the medical dispute presents growth trend and has become the focus of the current hospital management. Faced with this situation, the original medical mode has not adapted to this new change, and the third party mediation---as the non-litigation mechanism has become the main resolution of medical dispute. Taking a tertiary hospital of Jilin Province as an example, based on the survey of cognition to the third party mediation and the previous survey of medical disputes complaints,it is intended to find out the high risk factors of the medical dispute and the shortcomings of the third party mediation. Methods:Descriptive analysis was used to analysis the information about medical disputes during the past five years. Questionnaire survey was uses to understand the cognition of third party mediation for clinician.SPSS19.0 was used for data analysis. Results:1.Complaint rate in surgical system is higher and there was significant differences in clinic departments between different ages.2.Medical technology errors have become the high risk factors of medical disputes within five years.3.Medical staffs of different clinic departments have significant differences in the cognition of doctor-patient relationship(P<0.05).4.There were significant differences in the cognition of third party mediation between different professional qualifications doctors(P<0.05).5.The neutrality and fairness of the third party mediation is more concerned for medical staff.6. There were significant differences in the cognition of third party mediation、medical insurance and the personnel attitude if clinicians have medical disputes(P<0.05). Conclusions:1.Disputes of inpatients are important in medical disputes.And disputes in surgical system need to focus.2. From the talent team construction, financial support, publicity and other aspects, the third party mediation should be further improved in order to play its role in resolving medical disputes.3.The medical dispute assessment should be established and improve the medical dispute prevention mechanism.
