Clinical Research On The Treatment Of Allergic Rhinitis With The Method Of Tong Jing Dao Qi

ObjectivesAccording to the study of observing the clinical treatment of moderate and severe persistent allergic rhinitis(AR) with the method of Tong Jing Dao Qi, we found that it widen our ideas, provided as an effective and basis sample in our clinical treatment.Methods1. The random study method was employed,60 patients with allergic rhinitis who meet the stands of the disease diagnosis was divided into two group, the experimental group and the control group.2. Acupuncture points:the main points:Yingxiang(LI20), Shangyingxiang(EX-HN8), Yingtang(GV28), supplementary points was selected by syndrome differentiation:took Taiyuan(LU9) for the deficiency of Lung Qi, took Taibai(SP3) for the deficiency of Spleen Qi, took Taixi(KI3) for the insufficiency of the Kidney Yang, took Yuji(LU10) for the latent heat in the Lung Channel. The experimental group received conventional acupuncture needle with the method of Tong Jing Dao Qi while the other group just received conventional acupuncture needle. This clinical trial last four weeks, once every two days,3 times a week,12 times a section.3. The total nasal symptom score(TNSS) as the main indicators of efficacy evaluation and the secondy efficacy evaluation includes total non nasal symptom score(TNNSS) and rhinoconjunctitvis quality of live questionnaire (RQLQ). The laboratory indicators of EOS and TIgE as the evaluation indexes of the effect mechanism. Evaluation was conducted by assessing the value of TNSS, TNNSS, RQLQ.Result1. After 4 weeks of treatment, comparison between the two groups of TNSS, TNNSS 1 week total score. The results suggested that the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01); compared with the baseline difference, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01), it showed that the effect of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group. Compared the symptom indexes between TNSS, TNNSS in this two groups, results showed that the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01); compared with the baseline difference, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01), it showed that the improvement of patients with the clinical symptoms in the experimental group were significantly better than control group, and the clinical effect in the experimental group was significantly better than the control group.2. After 4 weeks of treatment, there was a significant difference in the total score of RQLQ between the two groups (P<0.05); compared with the baseline difference, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).3. After 4 weeks of treatment, the two groups of RQLQ scale between the 7 aspects of a total of 28 indicators, the results have a statistically significant difference in symptoms of headache (P<0.05).4. After 4 weeks of treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups and the experimental group in EOS(EOS count and EOS ratio) and TIgE (P>0.05).ConclusionThe method of Tong Jing Dao Qi can significantly relieve clinical symptoms of severe persistent allergic rhinitis patients, and improve the quality of life. It was a way of markedly effective and low side effects, and it was worthy promoting in clinical.
