| Objective:Therapeutic effect evaluation of the allergic rhinitis treatment with the "Shen Regulation Acupuncture Method" in various clinical therapeutic stages, to provide clinical basis on the treatment of moderate severe constant allergic rhinitis.Method:The paper satisfies the inclusion criteria for the study of the object, applying central randomization method, dividing into "Shen Regulation Acupuncture Method" treatment group and Cetirizine medicine group as the control group. The Acu-points for the treatment group are as follow:Bai Hui, Yin Tang, Ying Xiang, He Gu, Tai Chong, Da Zhui, Fei Shui, Gan Shu, Pi Shu, Shen Shu etc.4weeks as one treatment course,3times a week, total of2treatment courses, make a visit after the end of treatment after a month; As for the control group, oral dose of10mg Cetirizine medicine was given, once a day, total of4weeks as one treatment course, make a visit after of the end of treatment after a month. Observation value and observation time.Total Nasal Symptom Scores(TNSS):observation contents include nasal blockage, nasal discharge, rhinocnesmus, sneezing etc. After one treatment course (4weeks of treatment), proceed comparison of therapeutic effect before and after treatment between treatment group and the control group. After two treatment courses (8weeks of treatment), proceed a comparison of therapeutic effect between one and two treatments.Total Nasal N Symptom Score (TNNSS):Observation contents include the flow of nasal discharge through the guttur, lachrymation, titillation of the eye and nose, pain in the upper mandible and nose. After one treatment course (4weeks of treatment), proceed a comparison of therapeutic effect before and after the treatment between the treatment and the control group. Before the treatment, after one treatment course (4weeks of treatment), proceed comparison of the therapeutic effect between the treatment and the control group, and the therapeutic effect before and after the treatment of the treatment group. After the second treatment course (8weeks of treatment), proceed a comparison of the therapeutic effect between the end of the first and the second treatment course of the treatment group. As for the control group, proceed a comparison between the end of the first treatment course (4weeks of treatment) and the end of the visit (8weeks of treatment)Eosinophilic granulocyte (EOS) and Immunoglobulin E IgE count:After the end of the first treatment course (4weeks of treatment), proceed a comparison of these two content values before and after the treatment between the treatment and the control group. In the end of the second treatment course (8weeks of treatment), proceed a comparison in the treatment group, between the two content values after the end of the first and the second treatment group.The accumulation of this experiment statistical value was done by the combination of the evaluator and the daily record of the patient. The researcher have evaluated various contents of the scale of the patient, and at the same time, the patient have also self-evaluated by daily record.Result:Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire (RQLQ) on the2nd and the4th week of the treatment course:Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire (RQLQ) on the2nd and the4th week different treatment period shows that, starting from the3rd week of treatment, the therapeutic effect of the "Shen Regulation Acupuncture Method" group was more superior than the medication group in improving symptoms caused by rhinitis including depression, restless etc. P value=0.01, P=0.03(P<0.05), there is a statistical significance in the difference.1.Comparison of the RQLQ evaluation scores between groups after2weeks and4weeks of treatment:The evaluation result proves that after3weeks of treatment, improvement in symptoms such as depression, impatience or alysmus in AR patients of the Shen Regulation Acupuncture treatment group is superior than the medication control group, P value is shown as P=0.01, P=0.03(P<0.05), there is a statistical significance in the difference.2.Laboratory values after4weeks of treatment and the comparison of TNSS、RQLQ、TNNSS between groups:①Effect mechanism index:EOS count,total IgE.②safety index:function of the liver and the kidney test Cr/BUN/ALT/AST, shows no statistical significance in the difference (P>0.05), which means the therapeutic effect of these two groups in treating AR safety are the same.③Comparison between Total Nasal Symptom Score (TNSS)、Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire (RQLQ) and accompanied symptoms (TNNSS), result shows Improvement in symptoms such as nasal blockage, flow of nasal discharge through the gutter, lachrymation, titillation of the eye or nose and pain in the upper oral cavity was better in the "Shen Regulation Acupuncture Method" group than the Cetirizine medication group, statistical significance in the difference was shown (P<0.05)。Through the Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire(RQLQ)score, comparison between the end of treatment group B (4weeks of treatment) and a month visit after the end of treatment, there was a long term therapeutic effect with AR by intake of Cetirizine medication, and a good long term therapeutic effect was shown in treating patients with depression., there is a statistical difference in the difference P=0.03(P<0.05)。3. The evaluation of the RQLQ, total IgE value of different therapeutic stages of the "Shen Regulation Acupuncture Method" group shows:Comparison of the IgE value before the treatment, after a month of treatment and2months after the treatment, P>0.05, there is no statistical significance in the difference. The RQLQ score of the "Shen Regulation Acupuncture Method" group after2weeks,4weeks,6weeks and8weeks of treatment and the end of a month visit after the treatment shows, obstructing level of AR within a week influence toward activity1, activity2and activity3such as difficulty in sleeping, light sleep, thirsty, fatigue, poor concentration, exhaustion, feel uncomfortable caused by not bringing along tissue or handkerchief, need to rub the eye or the nose, repeatedly blow one’s nose, nasal blockage, nasal discharge, sneeze, itching of the eye, tearful eye, swelling of the eye, easy to be annoyed, get intolerable caused by the symptoms etc.10contents have shown extreme significant results, P<0.01, There is an improvement in the5contents anenergia, ophthalmodynia, swelling of the eye, depression, impatience, alysmus etc. and a statistical significance in the difference, P<0.05。Comparison between the first and the second treatment course daily record of the Shen Regulation Acupuncture treatment group P<0.01, shows that the second treatment course have a better result and a significant difference in the improvement of the nasal blockage, nasal discharge, itching of the nose, sneezing, flow of nasal discharge through the gutter, lachrymation, pain in the nose or the upper oral cavity and in headache.Conclusion:1. Both the Shen Regulation Acupuncture Method group and the Cetirizine medication group have shown therapeutic effect in the moderate severe constant allergic rhinitis. After3weeks of treatment, Shen Regulation Acupuncture Method group have shown better therapeutic effect in improving symptoms such as depression, impatience and alysmus than the Cetirizine medication group2.After one month of treatment, Shen Regulation Acupuncture Method group have shown better therapeutic effect in improving symptoms such as nasal blockage, nasal discharge, flow of nasal discharge through the gutter and pain in the nasal or the upper oral cavity, than the Cetirizine medication group.3. Comparison therapeutic effect of the "Shen Regulation Acupuncture Method" group between the first and the second month, the second treatment course was better than the first.4.There was still a long term therapeutic effect even after discontinuing of the Cetirizine, but the therapeutic effect for the negative emotions was poor. 5."Shen Regulation Acupuncture Method group"was better in improving mental state such as negative emotions in both short and long term therapeutic effect than the control group. |
