Clinical Observations On The Shaoyin Migraine By Professor Xinsheng Lai’s Tongyuan Needing Technique

ObjectiveSurvey the current status of clinical study on Shaoyin migraine, the application of traditional Chinese medicine research trend is very active, but the Acupuncture and moxibustion is not fully display its advantages. This study through the observation of the Clinical Observations on the Shaoyin migraine by Professor Xinsheng Lai’s Tongyuan needing technique,to verify the efficacy of the method, get rid of the shackles of traditional selecting acupoint along channel. Broaden the idea for the acupuncture treatment of Shaoyin migraine.Methods60 patients of Shaoyin migraine were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. Tongyuan needing technique was used in the treatment group in 20 cases. Among this, dredging the Du meridian and tonifying the spirit acupuncture therapy was used in the Hanhua syndrome (Baihui,Hsinshu, Shenshu, Mingmen, Shendao) with Taixi> Lieque; leading qi to its primordial location acupuncture therapy was used in the Rehua syndrome(Tianshu, Guilai, Qihai, Guanyuan) with Ququan,Diji,Yinlinquan,Taix, Lieque. Buprofen Sustained-Release Capsules was used in the control group A.totally 20 case;Routine acupuncture method was used in the control group B(Taiyang, Sizhukong,Jiaosun,Shuaigu, Fengchi, Waiguan, Zulinqi), totally 20 case. Observe and record the clinical curative effect index of the object of study(the duration of headache,the degree of attack,the number of headache, the simultaneous phenomenon). Through the statistical analysis, preliminary discussion the Clinical Observations on the Shaoyin migraine by Professor Xinsheng Lai’s Tongyuan needing technique.Results(1)Through the analysis of statistical, the cured and markedly effective rate was 90%in the group of acupuncture of Tongyuan and 75%in the group of Buprofen Sustained-Release Capsules and 60%in the group of Routine acupuncture. The therapeutic effect in the treatment group was superior to that in control group (p<0.05). There was no significant difference between before and after treatment of the group of acupuncture of Tongyuan and the group of Buprofen Sustained-Release Capsules.(2)The observed quantitative index of three group, including the duration of headache,the degree of attack, the number of headache, the simultaneous phenomenon, not statistically significant(P>0.05). But there was significant difference after 1 months、3 months of follow-up.statistical significance(P<0.05). Compare to the group of Routine acupuncture, the curative effect of one months treatment、follow-up period of the group of acupuncture of Tongyuan is better obviously, statistical significance (P<0.05).ConclusionAll of the group of Tongyuan needing technique, Routine acupuncture and the group of Medication have therapeutic effect. All of them can shorten the onset time in patients, alleviate the headache degree, reduce the number of headaches. But the effect with Shaoyin migraine, especially the long-term curative effect of the group of Tongyuan needing technique is better than the other two groups.
