Clinical Observation Of Tongyuan Acupuncture Combined With Western Medicine In The Treatment Of Infertility With Refractory Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

ObjectiveThrough the combination of traditional Chinese medicine,multi-target multi-step multi-channel treatment,balance the body’s yin and yang,restore the function of the gonadal axis,thereby regulating endocrine,promoting follicular maturation,and restoring ovulation.Integrated Chinese and Western medicine therapy includes Western medicine combined with Chinese medicine therapy and Western medicine combined with acupuncture and moxibustion therapy.Compared with pure TCM and Western medicine treatment programs,integrated TCM and Western medicine treatment programs can integrate the advantages of both sides,make up for each other’s disadvantages,effectively reduce treatment costs,and ultimately achieve the goal of treating both symptoms and root causes,which has very good promotion value.To explore the therapeutic effect and mechanism of Tongyuan acupuncture in the treatment of intractable PCOS infertility,and to provide a better therapeutic method and clinical basis for the clinical treatment of intractable PCOS infertility.Methods60 PCOS infertility patients with clomiphene induced ovulation resistance were randomly divided into treatment group(Tongyuan acupuncture + letrozole Le + human menopausal gonadotropin HMG)and control group(letrozole Le + human menopausal gonadotropin HMG).The basic data of the two groups were statistically analyzed before treatment.One menstrual cycle is a course of treatment,a total of 2 cycles,followed up for half a year.After treatment,endometrial thickness,pregnancy rate was observed.Collect data,use statistical software for statistical analysis,draw conclusions.Results1.Observation indexes: Research data shows that there are no visible changes in age,history of pregnancy and childbirth,years of preparation for pregnancy and sex hormone levels between the two groups(P >0.05).2.Maximum follicle diameter: the average maximum follicle diameter of the treatment group was 40.43mm;the average maximum follicle diameter of the control group was20.57 mm.There was significant difference in the largest follicle diameter between the two groups(P <0.05).3.Endometrial thickness: the average endometrial thickness of the treatment group was8.13 ± 2.39mm;the average endometrial thickness of the control group was 6.39 ±1.4439 mm.After treatment,the endometrial thickness of the treatment group was far better comparing with control group,with statistical difference significantly(P<0.05).4.Endometrial type: the endometrial type of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group,with statistical difference significantly(P<0.05).5.Clinical pregnancy rate: there were 30 patients in the treatment group,21 of them had successful clinical pregnancy,accounting for 70%;there were 30 patients in the control group,12 of them had successful clinical pregnancy,accounting for 40%.After treatment,the number of clinical pregnancy cases in the treatment group far better comparing with control group(P<0.05).6.Total efficacy: in the treatment group,30 cases were cured,accounting for 70%,4cases were markedly effective,accounting for 13.3%,5 cases were effective,accounting for16.6%,no invalid cases;in the control group,30 cases were effective,27 cases were effective,12 cases were cured,accounting for 40%,4 cases were markedly effective,accounting for 13.3%,11 cases were effective,accounting for 36.6%,3 cases were invalid,accounting for 10%.There was significant difference between the two methods(P<0.05).ConclusionTongyuan acupuncture is a safe,effective and low-cost method combined with modern assisted reproductive technology in the treatment of intractable PCOS infertility.
