ObjectiveExplore the expression and significance of the level of serum YKL-40 and MCP-1 in the process of infant breathing process, studies the correlation between two factors.Materials and methodsResearch objects: We randomly selected infants in pediatric respiratory inpatients of our hospital from October 1, 2013 to May 1, 2014 type breathing symptoms of children hospitalized with a total of 30 cases with wheezing onset group; Acute breathing recovery peripheral blood samples of 30 cases after treatment, positioning breathing remission group, at the same time Selected 30 cases of infants and young children in the hospital for physical examination as control group.Selection criteria: less than or equal to 3 years old, with the exception of respiratory structure dysplasia, bronchial foreign body, bronchial pulmonary hypoplasia, congenital laryngeal stridor, cardiac asthma, and gastroesophageal reflux, autoimmune disease and other diseases caused by breathing, no basic heart and lung disease history, all are born at term, age, gender, weight had no statistical difference(P > 0.05), never use a glucocorticoid in the last 2 weeks, normal control group of infants and young children without infectious disease in the last 2 weeks, and in the case of parents informed consent, and the permission of the hospital ethics committee and approved. Breathing remission group of children means acute wheezing children after effective treatment, in the course of 7-14 days when coughing, wheezing and other clinical symptoms and signs disappeared basically.Extract all the groups of children with peripheral venous blood specimen 2ml, take tube upper serum after Centrifugal, then transferred to EP tube, placed in- 70 ℃refrigerator crypreservation. Then apply enzyme-linked immunosorbent experiment method namely ELISA method to detect serum YKL-40 under test and the expression level of MCP-1. All the experiment data are used statistical software SPSS l8.0 processing, The results were demonstrated by mean±standard deviation, to normality test, f test, and then uese the single factor analysis of variance, comparing two applications of LSD-t method, the relationship between two variables linear correlation analysis(Pearson correlation analysis), with α= 0.05 as the statistical standard.Results1. The level of YKL 40- level: Wheezing onset group was significantly higher than breathing remission group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05); Breathing remission group is higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05); Wheezing onset group is significantly higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2. The level of MCP-1: Wheezing onset group was significantly higher than breathing remission group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05); Breathing remission group is higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05); Wheezing onset group is significantly higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3. Correlation analysis: Wheezing onset group of infants and young children in the peripheral blood YKL-40 and MCP-1 expression levels were positively correlated, and breathing remission group and control group in the peripheral blood YKL-40 and MCP – 1 expression levels has no significant correlation.Conclusions1. YKL 40 and MCP- 1 process involved in the pathogenesis of infantile asthmatic diseases.2. YKL 40 and MCP 1 in the pathogenesis of infantile asthmatic disease may exist in synergy.
