A Clinical Study On The Detumescence And Acesodyne Powder In Treatment Of Paediatric Mesenteric Lymphadenitis(Stagnation Of Cold And Qi Syndrome)

Objective:This paper discussed A Clinical Study on the Xiaozhong Zhitong Power in Its Effect of Subduing Swelling and Alleviating Pain of mesenteric lymphadenitis in children(cold and qi stagnation type) of an objective evaluation, for external application of Chinese medicine treatment of the disease to provide new ideas and new methods.Methods:60 clinical cases with a course of treatment(4 weeks) of the disease were studied.The overall therapeutic effect of the treatment was evaluated based on comparative analysis on the symptoms, signs and quantitative scores as well as the number and size of mesenteric lymph nodes suggested by Color Doppler Ultrasonography results before and after the treatment.Results:Xiaozhong Zhitong Power can effectively alleviate and eliminate abdominal pain, vomiting and abdominal distention symptoms caused by pediatric mesenteric lymphadenitis.The total effective rate was 98.33%, before and after treatment, the total score difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).The treatment efficacy was confirmed.After treatment,review of abdominal Color Doppler Ultrasonography,the number of swelled lymph node than before treatment decreased the number and transverse or longitudinal diameter, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01). The children found no nausea and vomiting, excessive sweating and other adverse reactions during treatment. This indicates the Xiaozhongzhitong powder for the treatment of the disease is safe for clinical application.Conclusion:The clinical study of Xiaozhong Zhitong Power proved that its application is an effective therapy for treatment of mesenteric lymphadenitis in children(cold and qi stagnation type), and the power obvious adverse reaction were not found.therefore,it is safe and reliable, be worthy of clinical popularization and application.
