Acupuncture Combined With Auricular Acupressure In The Treatment Of Postherpetic Neuralgia (PHN) Clinical Observation

Objective：Through the acupuncture combined with auricular plaster therapy in the treatment of postherpetic pain (PHN) curative effect observation,to explore with the application of rules,for clinical application of acupuncture combined with auricular point pressing therapy provide objective valuable clinical research evidence.Methods:Select 60 cases met the inclusion criteria,time of onset in the course from 1 month to 6 months between the patients randomly divided into acupuncture and auricular plaster therapy group(30 cases).The patients in each group were based on acupuncture points, manipulation and stimulation. Ear Auricular Pressure, attached to the selected points,2 days to replace 1 times (if the loss should be promptly replaced), two ears alternatively acupoint sticking, enjoin the daily press 4 to 6 times, each time 1 minute, make produce acid, swelling, pain, thermal to gentle manipulation pressure, so that the skin will not be crushed, treatment for 2 weeks (14 days), two groups treated daily 1 times, a total of 14 days, Sunday is a day of rest.Result:1. The symptoms of PHN integral, the treatment group before treatment and after treatment was statistically significant (P<0.01); the control group before and after treatment with statistical significance (P<0.01), the two methods are effective; By t test, after treatment, there was significant difference between two groups (P<0.05), the clinical curative effect is better than that of treatment group the control group.2. In the VAS score, the treatment group before treatment and after treatment was statistically significant (P<0.01); the control group before and after treatment with statistical significance (P<0.01), the two methods are effective; By t test, after treatment, there was significant difference between two groups (P<0.05), explain the treatment results.3. The total effective rate in treatment group was 93.33%, control group in the total efficiency of 80.00%, P=0.037(P<0.05) that was statistically significant between the two groups, the effect of the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.4. On the pain symptom score, by t test, the end of a month after treatment and after treatment between the two groups pain symptom integral ※P= 0.39 (P> 0.05), as shown in Figure 1 the analysis ※P value although not statistically significant, but after 1 month of pain in patients with trend shows that in the treatment group than the control group.5. Acupuncture combined with auricular plaster therapy is effective in treating PHN.2. Acupuncture combined with auricular acupressure in the treatment of PHN clinical observation is better than that of clinical therapeutic effect of acupuncture alone.3. Acupuncture combined with auricular acupressure treatment of PHN in the course of time and long term effect is better than the simple acupuncture.
