Objective: By observing the changes in 7-days urticaria activity score(USA7),skin quality of life index(DLQI),Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI),and serum total Immunoglobulin E before and after treatment and during followup period,to evaluate acupuncture combined with auricular point sticking on patients with chronic spontaneous urticaria.Method: A total of 60 patients with chronic spontaneous urticaria who were treated at the acupuncture and dermatology clinics of Wuhan First Hospital from October 2019 to December2020 were selected and divided according to the random number table method according to the ratio of 1:1 There were 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with Ibastine orally, and the observation group was treated with acupuncture and auricular point sticking on the basis of oral Ibastine.Acupuncture and ear points were treated 3 times a week and once every other day.The course of treatment was 4 weeks and the follow-up was 4 weeks.UAS7 scores,DLQI scores, and PSQI scores were performed before treatment,4 weeks of treatment, and the end of the follow-up period. The total serum IgE of the patients was tested before treatment, and the patients who were positive were tested for the second time after 4 weeks of treatment.After4 weeks of treatment, safety evaluation was performed.SPSS statistical software was used to compare the differences in UAS7 score,DLQI score,PSQI score, serum IgE,effective rate, recurrence rate, and adverse reactions between the two groups before and after treatment. Results: 1.After statistical analysis, there was no statistical difference in general data(age, gender, course of disease,etc.),UAS7 score,DLQI,PSQI,serum total IgE and other indicators of the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).Comparable.2.Intra-group comparison: Compared with before treatment, the UAS7 score,DLQI score,PSQI score, and serum IgE of the two groups of patients were significantly decreased after 4 weeks of treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with 4 weeks of treatment, the UAS7 score,DLQI score, and PSQI score of the two groups of patients at the end of the follow-up period did not change significantly, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05)3.Comparison between groups: comparing the UAS7 scores of the two groups, the difference between the observation group and the control group after 4 weeks of treatment was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and the difference in UAS7 scores between the two groups at the end of follow-up was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparing the DLQI scores, the difference between the observation group and the control group after 4 weeks of treatment was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and the difference between the two groups at the end of the follow-up period was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparing PSQI,the difference between the observation group and the control group after 4 weeks of treatment was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and the difference between the two groups at the end of the follow-up period was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparing serum IgE,there was no significant difference between the two groups after 4weeks of treatment(P>0.05).4.The effective rate was calculated at the end of the follow-up period. The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.33%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 86.67%.The data of the two groups were compared using the rank sum test(registered data),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the effective rate of acupuncture combined with ear acupoint pressing is better than that of the oral western medicine group alone.5.At the end of the follow-up period, the recurrence rate was calculated. There were 2 recurrences in the observation group, with a recurrence rate of 9.1%,and 4 recurrences in the control group, with a recurrence rate of 25.0%.The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).6.There were 3 patients with mild adverse reactions,of which 2 patients in the observation group had subcutaneous bruises, and 1 patient in the control group had dizziness and drowsiness, none of which affected the treatment. There was no statistically significant difference in the adverse reaction rate(P>0.05).Conclusion: Acupuncture combined with ear acupoint pressing and oral administration of Ibastine can improve patients’ symptoms, improve patients’ quality of life and sleep, and reduce serum IgE.The long-term effective rate of acupuncture combined with auricular point sticking is higher than that of oral ibastine. The long-term effect in improving the patient’s symptoms, quality of life, and sleep quality is more significant, and the combined treatment is more conducive to the recovery of the patient, and the safety is good.
