Objectives To compare the locking plate and T-plate in the treatment of proximal humeral fractures in the clinical efficacy. Methods Collected from 2009 to 2014, the second hospital treatment of proximal humeral fractures in Tangshan 40 cases of patients, including the adoption of T plate internal fixation treatment of 13 cases, with an average age of 54.7 years, with locking plate internal fixation treatment of 27 cases, with an average age of 59.3 years. Two groups of cases are periodically return in 6 months after surgery, record each index observation, two groups of data using independent sample t test for statistical analysis. Results The difference in the two groups were compared, two groups were age and type composition in comparison, P>0.05, the difference was not statistically significant. Two cases of T-plate locking plate and blood loss were compared, both reached the P>0.05, the difference was not statistically significant. Two cases of T-plate locking plate and postoperative drainage were compared, both reached the P>0.05, the difference was not statistically significant. Two cases two and three part fractures of the average operation time were compared, both reached the P>0.05, the difference was not statistically significant. Two cases in two parts and three parts of the healing time of comparison, both reached the P>0.05, the difference was not statistically significant. Two cases two and three part fractures of postoperative complications were obtained by comparing the P<0.05, significant difference. Two cases two and three part fractures after shoulder scores were obtained by comparing the P<0.05, significant difference. Conclusions In the treatment of proximal humerus fractures, excluding age, gender, Neer type of impact, locking plate fixation therapy in general, significantly better than the T-plate fixation. Locking plate with a small incision in line with human physiological characteristics, little damage to the bone periosteal blood supply, and fracture healing, a healing rate, patients with mild pain, shoulder and elbow function recovery, and can quickly enter the state of normal life, Postoperative low incidence of delayed union or nonunion, fewer complications and sequelae, shortened course of treatment. At the same time, to some extent alleviate the financial burden on patients and society. In addition, in the treatment of proximal humerus fractures treatment options, provide a valuable reference significance for the future development of orthopedics, treatment of patients with a more clear idea.
