Objective : To observe the clinical effects of Manipulation combined with bloodletting in treating phlegm-heat type of cough in children, aimed at providing a simple, convenient, safe and normative therapy.Method:90 children were selected with standard diagnostic code, exclusion rule. A total of 90 cases with phlegm-heat type of cough were allocated into the Manipulation with Bloodletting group(30 cases),Manipulation group(30 cases) and Chinese medicine group(30 cases) using random number table.①Combined group:using manipulation combined with bloodletting. Manipulation therapy: reinforcing pijing, clearing Feijing, transported inside the gossip, kneading Feishu(BL13), push the Danzhong(RN17). The total treating time was 10 minutes. Every child were treated one time every day. Every 5 times were a course of treatment. : using bloodletting treatment in eishu(BL13),Danzhong(RN17),and Chize(LU5),Fenglong(ST40). Treated every child once every day.Every four times were.②Manipulation group : Treatment, ③Chinese medicine group: receiving oral therapy of Xiao er fei re ke chuan oral liquid. After a course of treatment, to observe the three groups about effects treatment.Results:①Comparation of effectiveness: The cure rate, Manipulation group and Chinese medicine group were 70%, 30%, 20% and 96.67%,93.33%,86.67%. Trough the order-arranging test, the clinical effects of Combined group were superior to other two groups(P<0.05). Combined group had the common dominance of Manipulation group and Chinese medicine group. ②Comparation of clinical symptoms and signs scores: the scores of Combined group was different from the other two groups. The improvements of Combined group was superior to other two groups, such as cough, expectoration symptoms(P<0.05).③Comparation of safty and compliance: there was no untoward reaction during the course of treatment.These three groups had high safety level and compliance.Conclusion:Manipulation combined with bloodletting was a very safe and effective therapeutic approach for children with phlegm-heat type of cough. It was worthy of promotion and application for the future.
