Objective:By observing the efficacy of warming needle moxibustion with different moxibustion intensity to yifeng in treating on peripheral facial paralysis of wind-cold type at acute period, explore the relativity between moxibustion intensity and the effects of peripheral facial paralysis, optimize the program of acupuncture treatment of peripheral facial paralysis and provide evidence for clinical studying.Methods:90 cases were divided into needle treatment group according to order of treatment, warming needled moxibustion 1 cones moxibustion (1-cones-M),2 -cones-M. On H-B subscale and FDI subscale testing on patients before treatment and after four courses respectively.Results:1. After four courses of treatment, comparison of the efficacy indicators of three groups before and after treatment were significant differences (P<0.05), which indicated that the treatment methods of three groups all can improve the patient’s facial nerve function.2. After treatment, comparison of H-B score and FDI physical function score of the three groups of patients, the results were significant differences (P<0.05),and 2-cones-M was superior to others and 1-cones-M was superior to needle treatment group, indicating that the 2-cones-M in improving the patient’s facial nerve function and physical status is superior to to others and 1-cones-M was superior to needle treatment group.3.The finally according to H-B, the total effective rate of needle treatment group,1-cones-M and 2-cones-M were 93.1%,96.6% and 100%,which have not statistically significant differences (P>0.05); The cure rate were 13.8%,44.8% and 76.7%, which have statistically significant differences (P>0.05),2-cones-M was superior to others and 1-cones-M was superior to needle treatment group.Conclusions:1.Acupuncture treatment of peripheral facial paralysis is effective, the three different acupuncture treatment all can be significantly improved the patient’s facial nerve function and the patient’s physical and social function, which suggested that acupuncture not only reduce the facial paralysis symptoms but also improve the body’s overall health status.2. The efficacy of warming-acupuncture treatment of wind-cold peripheral facial paralysis is superior to acupuncture, which can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms, this treatment is easy to make the patients received, should be widely applied in clinical.3. Warming needled moxibustion 2 cones moxibustion is more superior to 1-cones-M.The best moxibustion intensity in treating on peripheral facial paralysis at acute period is 2-cones-M,whice can improve the cure rate apparently and shorten course, and beneficial for clinical use.
