Clinical Observation Of Warm Acupuncture With Different Moxibustion Intensity In Treatment Of Peripheral Facial Paralysis With Ear Aches

Purpose To observe the curative effect of warm acupuncture on peripheral facial paralysis with ear aches,and to further explore the correlation of different moxibustion intensity on the efficacy of this disease,and optimize the therapeutic schedule of peripheral facial paralysis with warm acupuncture.Methods To randomly divided sixty patients with peripheral facial paralysis into three groups:normal acupuncture group,warm acupuncture group ? and warm acupuncture group?,with 20 cases in each group.To compare the curative effect of three groups through evaluating HB scale and FDI scores before and after the course of treatment.At the same time,to compare the degree of ear aches relief by evaluating visual analogue scale of pain(VAS)and recording the number of days of ear aches disappeared during the course of treatment.Results(1)Every group shows no significant difference in general information before treatment(P>0.05).(2)Comparison of HB scale: The result of HB scale shows obvious difference to compare with itself before and after treatment within three groups(P<0.05);There is marked difference to the result of HB scale among three groups after treatment(P<0.05),to compare warm acupuncture group ?with normal acupuncture group:P<0.05,to compare warm acupuncture group?with normal acupuncture group:P<0.01,to compare warm acupuncture group ?with?:P<0.05.(3)Comparison of VAS scores :The immediate effect within three groups shows significant differences in VAS scores to compare with itself before treatment(P < 0.05),so it is to the effect after 1 hour;There is no marked difference to the immediate effect among three groups,as opposed to the effect after 1 hour.After 1 hour,to compare warm acupuncture group ?with normal acupuncture group:P < 0.01,to compare warm acupuncture group?with normal acupuncture group:P < 0.01,to compare warm acupuncture group ?with?:P<0.05.(4)Comparison of the days of ear aches disapeared:There is statistical difference to the the days of ear aches disapeared among three groups after treatment(P<0.05),to compare warm acupuncture group ?with normal acupuncture group:P < 0.05,to compare warm acupuncture group?with normal acupuncture group:P < 0.01,to compare warm acupuncture group ?with?:P<0.05.(5)Comparison of FDI scores:(1)FDIP scores show obvious difference to compare with itself before and after treatment within three groups(P<0.01);There is statistical difference to FDIP scores among three groups after treatment(P<0.01),to compare warm acupuncture group ?with normal acupuncture group:P<0.05,to compare warm acupuncture group?with normal acupuncture group:P<0.01,to compare warm acupuncture group ?with?:P < 0.05;(2) FDIS scores show obvious difference to compare with itself before and after treatment within three groups(P<0.01);There is statistical difference to FDIS scores among three groups after treatment(P<0.01),to compare warm acupuncture group ?with normal acupuncture group:P < 0.05,to compare warm acupuncture group?with normal acupuncture group:P < 0.01,to compare warm acupuncture group ?with?:P<0.05.(6)Comparison of the curative effect:There is obvious difference among three groups of the curative effect after treatment(P<0.05),while the efficacy rate of normal acupuncture group is 75.0%,and 95.0% for warm acupuncture group?,100% for warm acupuncture group?.To compare warm acupuncture group ?with normal acupuncture group:P < 0.05,to compare warm acupuncture group?with normal acupuncture group:P<0.01,to compare warm acupuncture group ?with?:P<0.01.Conclusion(1)Both Warm acupuncture and normal acupuncture show good therapeutic effect for this disease,while alleviating ear aches effectively;(2)The curative effect of warm acupuncture is superior to normal acupuncture;(3)The efficacy of this disease shows some certain correlation with different moxibustion intensity,and the curative effect of warm acupuncture 5 cones superior to3 cones.
