Objective:(1)Through the clinical research,to observe and assess the differences of Adjusting spine and dredging Du meridian acupuncture and Conventional acupuncture in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(LDH) in clinical efficacy.(2)To explore the traditional and western pathogenic mechanism of LDH.(3)To explore the traditional and western medicine mechanism for the treatment of lumbar disc herniation,In order to enrich clinical acupuncture methods.Method: 67 cases of lumbar disc herniation patients gathering strictly according to the inclusion criteria and the exclusion criteria, voluntarily accepting the research, were randomly divided into 2 groups. One was the treatment group including 35 patients, the oldest is 70 and minimum 28 years old, the average age was 48.16±13.80 years old, taking Adjusting spine and dredging Du meridian acupuncture(to select jiaji and Dumai points of the main lesion and its adjacent intervertebral disc); the other was the control group including 32 patients, the oldest is 73 and minimum 27 years old, with an average of 44.51±12.51 years old, taking routine acupunture(the currently clinical curative effect of conventional treatment methods). 6 times is a course of treatment, every time is 30 min,all patients were treated 2 courses. To record the cases score data of both groups before and after treatment, according to the lumbar disease evaluation criteria(JOA score) on primary symptom, physical signs, daily life activities ability score and visual analogue scale(VAS score) pain score, gather data by excel spreadsheet and analyze results through SPSS 17.0 statistical software. After the treatment,to assess clinical effects of two groups according to the curative effect of standard of disease diagnosis curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine standard and the lumbar disease evaluation criteria, and by Meta analysis methods to analyze the data. Results: 1. No significant difference between two groups of patients before treatment baseline gender, age, JOA scores, and VAS scores. baseline characteristics balanced, comparable. 2.Two groups of patients before and after treatment JOA scores、VAS scores: two groups were compared before and after their cases were, there were significant differences(P <0.05); comparison between the two treatment groups there are also significant differences in the treatment group than the control group(P <0.05).To tip two treatment methods for patients with lumbar disc herniation of the main symptoms, signs and activities of daily living have a better improvement;and two treatment methods can better alleviate pain in patients with lumbar disc herniation, spinal adjustment, but the analgesic effect of adjusting spine and dredging Du meridian acupuncture is superior to conventional acupuncture. 3.The total clinical efficacy compared two groups: In treatment group, 17 cases were cured, 9 cases showed excellent results, 5 cases were effective, 2 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 93.75%, 81.26% was significantly recover. In control group,10 cases were cured, 7 cases showed excellent results, 9 cases were effective, 5 cases were ineffective, total effective rate was 84.38%, significantly recover was 53.13%.To tip two clinical acupuncture methods have clinical efficacy to treatment LDH; there are no significant differences(P >0.05) between the control group and the treatment group. 4.The safety evaluation: During the study period, all clinical practices were safe. The clinical observation found no fainting, curved needle, Needle and other adverse events in all patients during acupuncture. When this study acupuncture treatment of lumbar disc herniation acupoints acupoints positioning formulated in accordance with national standards GB12346-90, angle and depth of the needle, no adverse reactions. All the patient’s vital signs were normal during the study period, the incidence of adverse reactions and adverse events did not appear in the course of treatment of acupuncture. Conclusion: Adjusting spine and dredging Du meridian acupuncture and conventional acupuncture treatment of lumbar disc herniation has a definite effect, clinically feasible. The Adjusting spine and dredging Du meridian acupuncture has obvious advantages in improving clinical signs and symptoms in patients with activities of daily living and pain relief, it is worth clinical promotion and further in-depth study.
