Purpose:Based on the theory of meridian sinews, the application effect analysis of strong stimulation massage and acupuncture in the treatment of foot-sun meridian sinews type lumbar intervertebral disc herniation was discussed.Material and method:In this study,76 patients with lumbar disc herniation who met the inclusion criteria were divided into two groups according to the onset time by stratified random clinical research method: group a: 41 patients less than 4 weeks.Group B: 35 cases over 4 weeks. Two groups of patients A and B were randomly divided into strong stimulation massage group and acupuncture group respectively. All patients were treated for 4 courses of treatment: 1 time/2 days and 1 week/course of treatment. Both groups A and B were evaluated before and 4 weeks after treatment respectively.VAS,JOA and infrared thermography were used to evaluate the efficacy evaluation scale.Results:1.The sex,age and body mass index of the subjects in the strong stimulation massage group and acupuncture group in group a and group b have no statistical difference(p > 0.05),and are comparable.2.The treatment results show that:(1)according to VAS,JOA score and infrared thermography, group a showed that there was statistical significance in both groups(p < 0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P > 0.05).(2)according to VAS,JOA score and infrared thermography, group b showed that there was statistical significance in both groups(p < 0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment, the therapeutic effect of acupuncture group was significantly better than that of strong stimulation massage group(p < 0.05).(3)Within 4 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of massage group was 95.24%,and that of acupuncture group was 95.00%.The total effective rate of massage group is83.33% and that of acupuncture group is 94.12% over 4 weeks.Conclusion:1.Strong stimulation massage and acupuncture have obvious therapeutic effects on lumbar disc herniation.2.When the course of disease of patients with lumbar disc herniation is less than 4 weeks and they are in the stage of inflammation, there is no significant difference between strong stimulation massage and acupuncture treatment.3.The cure rate of acupuncture group is significantly higher than that of strong stimulation massage group when the course of disease of patients with lumbar disc herniation exceeds 4weeks and is in chronic adhesion.
