Essential Hypertension(EH) is not only the first risk factor for cardiovascular disease, but also an important risk factor for kidney disease. Blood Pressure Variability(BPV) is a measure of the degree of fluctuation in blood pressure, a powerful indicator to assess disease prognosis and efficacy. The activation of Renin angiotensin aldosterone system (RAAS) can also make blood pressure increase, and participate in the pathogenesis of hypertension, which plays a key role in the process of the regulation of circadian rhythm. Hypertension is characterized by more complications, more severe complications, the syndrome is relatively complex, so for the research on the laws of the complicated syndromes is particularly important.1.Objective:By observation statistics of the TCM four diagnostic information of200patients with essential hypertension, we explored the relationship between the distribution of syndromes, blood pressure variability and RAAS preliminarily. These findings of the study were expected to provide a theoretical basis for the syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine hypertension.2.Methods:We developed hypertension syndrome of TCM clinical question naire and filled the TCM four diagnostic information of each selected cases, all the data were used SPSS17.0for data management and statistical analysis. We used (x±s) for the measurement data, and after they had met the normal distribution and homogeneity of variance test between the two groups comparison, we used the chi-square test for the count data.3.Results:3.1The related studies between blood pressure variability and TCM syndrome type3.1.124-hour systolic blood pressure standard deviation between the three syndrome pairwise comparison P<0.05, there was statistically significant, and the size of variability:Gan Yang Shang Kang Zheng> Tan Yu Hu Zu Zheng> Yin Yang Liang Xu Zheng, As for the standard deviation of diastolic blood pressure in24hours, the standard deviation of systolic blood pressure in the daytime, the standard deviation of systolic blood pressure in the night time, the standard deviation of diastolic blood pressure in the night time, the pairwise comparison between three syndromes Pvalues>0.05, there were no statistically significance and no significant difference. 3.1.2The systolic blood pressure standard deviation comparison of the Gan Yang Shang Kang hyperactivity hypertension between the daytime and night time, Pvalues <0.05,there was statistically significant, that is, the blood pressure variability in the Gan Yang Shang Kang hyperactivity hypertension:the systolic blood pressure standard deviation in the daytime> the systolic blood pressure standard deviation in the night time; the yin and yang deficiency hypertension of both two comparison:the systolic blood pressure standard deviation comparison between the daytime and night time, Pvalues>0.05,there was no statistically significant and no significant difference. The systolic blood pressure standard deviation of both two comparison in the phlegm and blood stasis hypertension between the daytime and night time, Pvalues>0.05, there was no statistically significant and no significant difference.3.1.3Separately for each of the syndromes, the standard deviation of diastolic blood pressure of day and night were compared with in the group, examined the normality P>0.05with normal distribution, Paired t tests was used respectively to draw, the phlegm and blood stasis hypertension comparison between the two Pvalue <0.05there was statistically significant, ie,the standard deviation of diastolic blood pressure in the night time in patients with phlegm and blood stasis> in the daytime. In the yin and yang deficiency hypertension, the standard deviation comparison of diastolic blood pressure between the daytime and the night time, Pvalues>0.05, there was no significant difference and no statistically significant. In the liver-yang hyperactivity hypertension, the standard deviation comparison of diastolic blood pressure between the daytime and the night time, Pvalues>0.05, there was no significant difference and no statistically significant.3.2The study of the rennin-angiotensin II-aldosterone in patients with hypertension between TCM syndrome3.2.1In the angiotensin-II conducted between the three syndromes pairwise comparisons P<0.05, there was statistically significant, the size of the differences in numerical:Gan Yang Shang Kang Zheng> Tan Yu Hu Zu Zheng> Yin Yang Liang Xu Zheng.3.2.2In the renin and aldosterone, three syndromes pairwise comparison Pvalues both>0.05, there was no statistically significant and no significant difference. 4. Conclusions:(1) The standard deviation variability of the24hours systolic blood pressure in hypertensive patients:Gan Yang Shang Kang Zheng> Tan Yu Hu Zu Zheng> Yin Yang Liang Xu Zheng.(2) The systolic blood pressure standard deviation comparison of the Gan Yang Shang Kang hyperactivity hypertension between the daytime and night time:the systolic blood pressure standard deviation in the daytime>the systolic blood pressure standard deviation in the night time.(3) The diastolic blood pressure standard deviation comparison of the Tan Yu Hu Zu hyperactivity hypertension between the daytime and night time:the diastolic blood pressure standard deviation in the night time>the diastolic blood pressure standard deviation in the daytime.(4) The Angiotensin-Ⅱ in the Gan Yang Shang Kang, TanYu Hu Zu,Yin Yang Liang Xu, were compared between the three syndromes, the size of numerical difference: Gan Yang Shang Kang Zheng>TanYu Hu Zu Zheng>Yin Yang Liang Xu Zheng.
