Clinical Research Of Jieyu Analgesic Decoction In Treating Tension-type Headache With Depression

Objective：To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Chinese medicine Jieyuanalgesic decoction in treating tension-type headache associated with depressive state,andexplore the possible mechanisms preliminarily.Methods：Select60patients accompanied by depression status with tension-typeheadache，30cases were randomly divided into a treatment group，the control group of30patients, treatment group oral Jieyu analgesic mixture, Control group was treated withhydrochloric acid eperisone, Course of4weeks. The evaluation of efficacy and safety ofChinese medicine Jieyu analgesic decoction in treating tension-type headache associatedwith depressive state were done both pre and post treatment. The evaluation of efficacy：The clinical effect and the TCM symptom effect were observed,the change of HAMDscore was recorded,the TCD indexes and SF-36scale score were detected.The evaluationof safety: The adverse reaction and side effect were observed,blood routine and liver renalfunction were detected. And the related data were analysised by SPSS17.0.Results:1.Clinical assessment of two groups:there were significant differencebetween the two groups before and after treatment.The total effective rate to headache ofthe treatment group was90.0%,while the control group was66.7%.2.The improvement ofdepression status:The HAMD score of the treatment group decreased significantly aftertreatment while there was no obvious change in that of the control group. The totaleffective rate to depression status of the treatment group was90.0%,while the controlgroup was10.0%.3.After4weeks’ treatment,the TCM symptoms and signs were markedlyimproved,and the two groups had significant differences respectively.After treatment theTCM symptom score of the two groups also had significant differences.The treatment group was much better than the control group.4.Results of TCD indicator:The TCDindicator of the two groups were improved obviously,the mean velocity of BA,VA andPCA of the treatment group and the control group after treatment had significantdifference.5.Results of life quality evaluation: The SF-36of the two groups were improvedobviously, the score of body pain and overall health of the treatment group and the controlgroup after treatment had significant difference.6.The assessment results of safety:Therewere no severe adverse reaction of both two groups and there was no abnormal changes inblood routine and liver renal function of the treatment group.Conclusion: Headache and depression status of patients with tension-type headachecould be improved significantly by treating with Jieyu analgesic decoction and theabnormal hemorheology of brain improved obviously and quality of life.The therapeuticefficacy and observation indexes of Jieyu analgesic decoction were better than that ofeperisone hydrochlorise,and with a higher safety.
