Aged Care Workers Studied The Relationship Between Psychological Capital Organizational Support And Mental Health

ObjectiveExplore the relationship among psychological capital,social support and mental health about aged care workers.MethodsJanuary to May in 2014, according to the level of economic development in Liaoning Province representative random sample of 120 nursing homes in three cities to work more than six months 317 aged care workers for the study, the use of psychological capital Scale(PCQ-24) Social support Rating Scale(SSRS) and the symptom Checklist(SCL-90) self-administered questionnaire. Questionnaire effective rate was 90.0%.Results1, Hoping to score(3.64 ± 0.37), optimism score(3.71 ± 0.35), toughness, a score of(3.67 ± 0.32), self-efficacy scores(3.76 ± 0.35), shows old-age nursing staff levels of psychological capital is fair. On pension nursing Member psychological capital of four dimension degrees for variance analysis, results found all dimension degrees has statistics meaning(F=23.980,P=0.000), and member psychological capital of four dimension degrees for 22 compared, results displayed self effectiveness sense scored, and toughness scored and hopes scored has statistics meaning(P<0.05), while self effectiveness sense scored above hopes and the toughness.2, Age less than 40 years of nursing staff caregivers in psychological capital scores than in other age groups scores of psychological capital(P<0.01); work experience more than 5 years of nursing the psychological capital scores than younger caregivers(P<0.01), with secondary and high school education of nurses psychological capital score significantly higher than other education(P<0.01).3,On psychological capital and spirit symptoms, and social support volume table each entries for Pearson correlation found, psychological capital in the of toughness, and optimistic and the self effectiveness and spirit symptoms in the each factor is negative related of relationship(P<0.05), while hopes and hostile, and forced symptoms and the depression is negative to related(P<0.01), social support in the of subjective support and psychiatric sex, and depression, and forced symptoms, and paranoid and the is negative to related(P< 0.05).4, Self effectiveness sense can significantly negative to forecast terrorist, body and psychiatric sex(P<0.01), and control population learn since variable, its explained of variance variation volume increased has 31%, and 35% and the 14%.ConclusionsPsychological capital of old-age nursing staff levels in line, the endowment care workers with low academic level to autonomy, lack of expertise, making it worse.
