ObjectiveTo investigate the level of health promoting behavior(HPB)in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD),and to explore the associations of social support and positive psychological capital with HPB,so as to provide a empirical evidence for promoting the practice of health behavior for patients with CHD.MethodsUsing convenience sampling,264 patients with CHD from the cardiology department of two tertiary-care hospitals in Jinan during November in 2016 to December in 2017 were surveyed with the Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profilell.the Social Support Scale(PSSS)and the Positive Psychological Questionnaire(PPQ).ResultsThe total score of HPB of patients with CHD was 129.73± 19.94,and the each demension were nutrition(24.08±4.02),interpersonal relations(24.06±3.87),spiritual growth(23.88± 5.76),health responsibility(20.97± 4.15),stress management(19.98±3.68),physical activity(16.68±4.66)in the descending order.Total score of HPB and its dimensions of patients with CHD were higher than elderly in community norm,which was statistical significance(P<0.001).1.Results of the univariate analysis about demographic data showed that there remained significant differences in degree of ages,education,working status,family income per month,place of residence,the number of complications(P<0.05);2.Total score of social support of patients with CHD was 69.01 ± 9.10,the highest score of that was the family support dimension,while the lowest was the friend support dimension.Correlation analysis results showed that the score of social support was positively correlated with total score of HPB and scores of health responsibility,nutrition,spiritual growth,interpersonal relations,stress management(P<0.01);3.Total score of positive psychological capital of patients with CHD was 124.60± 19.01,the highest score of that was the optimism dimension,while the lowest was the toughness dimension.Pearson correlation analysis results showed that the score of positive psychological capital was positively correlated with total score of HPB and scores of health responsibility,nutrition,physical activity,spiritual growth,interpersonal relations,stress management(P<0.01).4.Multiple linear regression analysis of influencing factors on HPB among patients with CHD showed:self-efficacy(?=0.160,?=0.021)and hope(?=0.244,P?0.001)could significantly influence HPB.Family support has a significantly influence health responsibility dimension(?= 0.154,P=0.023)and nutrition dimension(?=0· 120,P = 0.045).Friend support(?= 0.154,P = 0.020)could significantly influence physical activity dimension.Toughness(?=0.127,P=0.020)and hope(?= 0.358,P=0.000)could significantly influence spiritual growth dimension.Other support(?=0.305,P=0.000)and hope(?=0.288,P=0.000)could significantly influence on interpersonal relations.Self-efficacy(??0.172,P=0.020)and hope(?=0.222,P?0.005)could significantly influence stress management.Conclusion1.According to the level of HPLPII,the HPB among patients with CHD were at the medium and good level,the highest score of that was the nutrition dimension,while the lowest was the physical activity dimension;2.There was a significant positive correlation between social support positive psychological capital and HPB among patients with coronary heart disease and each dimension;3.Factors such as family support,friend support,other support,self-efficacy,hope and toughness could take an active influence on improvement of HPB among patients with CHD.
