During the latest 20 years,men have been place serious stress on health crisis.And government agencies in different countries gradually focus on residents health,taking increasing the health and well-being of residents as an important goal in government work.The time is processing,people have gone beyond the limitation of studying health from biology,and gradually paid attention to studying health from sociology and other angles.Now,many researchers from different countries and diverse research directions use social factors to explain health problems.The influence of social factors on health is mainly realized through social network,therefore,when analyzing the factors affecting health,academic circles frequently use social relations network as the embodiment of social factors.Throughout Chinese history,social relations are the essential characteristics of Chinese society.It is high time that we use the perspective of social capital to study health problems of migrant workers.Whether social capital will affect the health of migrant workers and what kind of impact it will have are worth further study.This paper adopts the 2017 survey data of China Comprehensive Social Survey(CGSS)and constitutes a measurement system of social capital from four dimensions:relationship network,group participation,public participation and social interaction,and uses Ordinal logistic regression analysis methods to explore the physical and physiological effects of social capital on migrant workers.The results of this study are as follows:Migrant workers have a healthy mental and physical state.However,their individual and collective social capital are weak.The health of migrant workers is significantly affected by social capital,but different levels of social capital have diverse effects on health.Friendly relationship,participation in trade union and trust are conductive to physical health.While relatives,intergenerational relations and prejudice have a significant negative impact on the physical health of migrant workers.Participation in trade unions and trust have a significant positive impact on the mental health of migrant workers;Participation in cultural activities and prejudice have a significant negative impact on the mental health of migrant workers.There are gender differences in the influence of social capital on the physical and mental health of migrant workers.
