Occupation burnout has been the topic of which sociology, psychology and several other areas had studied for a long time. This study takes residents working within10years as the object and conducts the study from three points:psychological capital, social support and occupation burnout. Aims to analyze the current situation of the residents occupational burnout and the relationship among three variables. The purpose of the study is to understand that how psychological capital effect occupation burnout through social support, and provide suggestions to ease occupation burnout of residents. Questionnaire survey is used in this study, with a total of350questionnaires handed out and298valid questionnaires took back. After the analyze and census of the date by SPSS16.0,we found the result as following:(1)The different demographic variables influence three variables in a varying degrees.(2)Psychological capital, social support and occupational burnout of residents correlate with each other significantly.(3)Psychological capital and social support of residents have significantly predictive effects on occupational burnout.(4)Social support partially performs the medicating functions between psychological capital and occupational burnout, of which subjective support completely performs the medicating functions between hope and occupational burnout, partially performs the medicating functions between toughness and occupational burnout, and partially performs the medicating functions between optimism and occupational burnout; individual availability partially mediates the effect of toughness.
