Advanced gastric cancer is the primary gastric mucosa epithelial malignant tumor, China has been one of the highest gastric cancer incidence and mortality countries in the world, which cause serious damage to the health of our people. With the advances in the technology of Surgery and chemotherapy, the prognosis of advanced gastric cancer has improved in certain degrees, but it is still characterized by many adverse reactions, like patients with poor tolerance, reduced quality of life and other characteristics. There is poor health to the aged advanced gastric cancer, they have bad treatment.After reviewing the large number of literature data and summarizing the experience of Professor Wang Xixing in prevention and treatment of cancer, this paper confirms that Chinese medicine has unique advantages in treating advanced gastric cancer, especially it is effective but cheaper. In order to enrich an develop means of Chinese medicine in treatment of advanced gastric cancer.Literature review in this paper explain the Chinese medical research progress of advanced gastric cancer, from the origins of disease name, etiology and pathogenesis, treatment type, simple and experienced prescription, and summarizes the understanding and treatment experience on the disease of many clinical medicine experts. Based on the experience summary of clinical data of diagnosis and treatment of advanced gastric cancer of Professor Wang Xixing’s outpatient and combined the diagnosis and treatment technology of traditional Chinese medicine and modern pharmacology, the paper summarizes the experience of Professor Wang Xixing on treatment of advanced gastric cancer as a whole.Professor Wang Xixing suggests that the causes of the advanced gastric cancer on elderly is the spleen and stomach, liver and stomach disharmony. Hormone deficiency, six exogenous pathogenic factors, impassioned internal injuries, improper diet, eating unclean because one or more at the same time in the body, and make phlegm, blood stasis and toxin knot at gastral cavity, hair for gastric cancer, etiology of the responsibility "discord".
