Esophageal cancer is the primary esophageal epithelial malignant tumor; Chinahas been one of the highest esophageal cancer incidence and mortality countries inthe world, which cause serious damage to the health of our people. With theadvances in the technology of Surgery and chemotherapy, the prognosis ofesophageal cancer has improved in certain degrees, but it is still characterized bymany adverse reactions, like patients with poor tolerance, reduced quality of life andother characteristics. In order to enrich anddevelop means of Chinese medicine in treatment of esophageal cancer, and to removethe patients disorders better,the paper discusses in detail from the above two aspects.Literature review in this paper explains the Chinese medical research progress ofesophageal cancer, from the origins of disease name, etiology and pathogenesis,treatment type, simple and experienced prescription, research of traditional Chinesemedicine and Chinese medicine injections research aspects, and summarizes theunderstanding and treatment experience on the disease of many clinical medicineexperts. Based on the experience summary of clinical data of diagnosis and treatmentof esophageal cancer of Professor Wang Xixing’s outpatient and combined thediagnosis and treatment technology of traditional Chinese medicine and modernpharmacology, the paper summarizes the experience of Professor Wang Xixing ontreatment of esophageal cancer as a whole.Professor Wang Xixing thinks esophageal cancer is caused by two reasons： firstly, a variety of miscellaneous cooperation for the body like improperdiet,irregular life, congenital endowment,living environment will leave the phlegm,blood stasis, poison knot in the esophagus; secondly, deficiency in Yin, dry body fluid,esophagus loss of profit cause the disease. The diagnostic strategy follows theprinciple of invigorating spleen and soothing liver, supplementing qi and nourishingyin, nourishing liver and kidney, abidance by triple pathogens，respectively chooseinvigorating liver and pass down the stomach gas powder, si ni powder and yi guandecoction, si ni powder and xiao xian xiong decoction, yi qi decoction andpulse-activating decoction prescriptions, represented by combining the reality ofclinical syndrome differentiation to add and subtract. Besides, thepaper also includes the concrete analysis of the application of clinical thinking, cardtype change characteristics and the practical application of adding and subtractingchanges based on the test cases.
