Chronic atrophic gastritis has a high incidence in our country whichassociated with intestinal metaplasia,intraepithelial neoplasia (hyperplasia)has the tendency of development to gastric cancer. It is of significance to carryout intervention of atrophic gastritis to cancer actively and effectively.Traditional Chinese medicine has an old saying that“Human without disease,prevention first” and has a reliable curative effect and larger advantage intreatment and prevention of the disease.Professor WangChuijie has engaged in scientific and clinical research ofdigestive system of Traditional Chinese medicine for more than thirty years andis knowledgeable with rich clinical experience. He has done many researches ofchronic atrophic gastritis and precancerous lesions systematically and has aunique experience in terms of diagnosis and treatment.He thinks that the spleendeficiency is the foundation of this disease and Qi and blood stasis are thekey of the pathology.He also regards the endoscopy and pathology as extensionsof the inspection of traditional Chinese medicine on clinical diagnosis andtreatment.Professor Wang pays attention to the tongue diagnosis in combinationwith gastric mucosa saw by the endoscopy and treatment on tonifying Qi andpromoting Qi with blood circulation and daily aftercare as well.Professor Wanghas obtained the remarkable curative effect on the reverse the inhibition andgastric mucosa intraepithelial neoplasia.The purpose of this paper is tosummarize tutor academic thoughts and clinical experience in order to achievemastery through a comprehensive study and inherit and develop the thoughts inclinical in the future.
