[Objective]To analyze the reliability and validity of Occupational Stress Inventory Revised Edition (OSI-R), Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey (MBI-GS) and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire, Short Scale for Chinese (EPQ-RSC). [Methods] A cross-sectional survey with stratified cluster sampling was performed. Of 1500 doctors and nurses from 12 general hospitals of Guangxi province were studied. Homogeneity reliability, split-half reliability, test-retest reliability, correlation analysis, factor analysis and structural equation modeling were used to assess the reliability and validity of OSI-R, MBI-GS and EPQ-RSC.[Results]Cronbach’s α coefficient of OSI-R and its three subscales were ranged from 0.887~0.934; split-half reliability were 0.913~0.941 and test-retest reliability were 0.558-0.941 (p<0.001). Cronbach’s α coefficient, split-half reliability and test-retest reliability of MBI-GS were 0.875,0.947 and 0.672 (p<0.001), respectively. Cronbach’s a coefficient of four subscales of EPQ-RSC were ranged from 0.483-0.816; split-half reliability were 0.466-0.829 and test-retest reliability were 0.429-0.749 (p<0.001). OSI-R, MBI-GS and EPQ-RSC had satisfactory construct validity.[Conclusions]All these three questionnaires:OSI-R, MBI-GS and EPQ-RSC have good reliability and validity. But OSI-R and EPQ-RSC should be improved in order to better use for occupational stress and personality study.
