However, the number of dental medical institutions in Xinjiang was insufficient and the distribution structure of dental medical institutions was not reasonable. The number of dental manpower was insufficient in Xinjiang and the level of education and professional-title of the dental manpower was low. Young and middle-age had become the main force. The proportion of "medical" and "nursing care" structure in the internal dental human resource was disordered. Suggestions to further improvement of the reasonable configuration for dental health resources; the structure of the dental health professionals should be built reasonably; the number of dental support staff proportion should be increased; the continuing education and training of the dental manpower should be strengthened; the education level of the dental health professionals should be raised. Ensure the sustainable development of dental medical care in Xinjiang.
