The Relationship Between P53Codon72Polymorphism And Susceptibility Of Gastric Cancer In Qinghai Area

Objective:1.To explore the relationship between single nucleotide polymorphisms（SNP） of p53gene codon72(Arg72Pro) and susceptibility of gastric cancer inHan in Qinghai area;2.To explore the relationship between different genotype ofp53Arg72Pro and gastric cancer occurrence site;3.To explore the relationshipbetween single nucleotide polymorphisms of p53gene Arg72Pro and HelicobacterPyloi infection in gastric cancer.Methods: The p53gene Arg72Pro single nucleotide polymorphisms of peripheralblood leukocyte DNA were determined by TaqMan real-time PCR method in64gastric cancer patients and72healthy controls in Hans.Results: The genotype distribution of p53gene Arg72Pro in gastric cancer patientsand healthy controls was in accordance with Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (P>0.05).The proportions of p53codon72gene type Arg/Arg, Arg/Pro and Pro/Pro were21.86%,25.00%,53.14%in gastric cancer group, and16.67%,31.94%,51.39%incontrol group, respectively. Arg and Pro alleles in gastric cancer group were48.44%,51.56%，while were42.36%,57.64%in the control group. Arg/Arg genotypefrequencies in cardiac part、bottom of stomach、body of stomach and gastric antrumwere7.14%,7.14%,57.14%,28.57%, Pro/Pro were12.50％,6.25％,62.5％,18.75％, and Arg/Pro were26.47％,5.88％,50.00％,17.65％, respectively. Thefrequencies of Arg/Arg, Pro/Pro, Arg/Pro in gastric cancer with HP (+) group were28.57%,17.14%,54.29%respectively, and were13.79%,34.48%,51.72%ingastric cancer with HP (-) group.Conclusion:1.p53gene codon72polymorphism may be not correlated with gastriccancer in Qinghai area.2. p53gene codon72polymorphism may be not correlatedwith the position of gastric cancer.3.p53gene codon72polymorphism may be notcorrelated with the situation of HP infection in gastric cancer group.
