Objective: The aim is to study the expression and clinical significance of FAF1&FLIP in gastric cancer and precancerous lesions of gastric cancer in Qinghai area. Methods To collect53patients with gastric cancer as gastric cancer group,52cases ofprecancerous lesions of gastric cancer of atrophic gastritis patients as Precancerouslesion of gastric cancer group, and50cases of benign gastric lesions in the distalnormal tissues and normal gastric mucosa tissues as control group. This studydetected the protein expression level of FAF1and FLIP of the pathological changesby immunohistochemistry and compared with three groups. Results (1)The expressionrate of FAF1in control group and gastric cancer group and precancerous lesions ofgastric cancer group differently was84.0%(42/50),53.85%(28/52),28.30(15/53),the comparison between each group has significant difference (χ2=32.59, P <0.01).The expression of FAF1was connected with stomach histological differentiation (P <0.05).(2)The expression rate of FLIP was58.00(19/50) and36.54(19/52) and81.13(43/53). The gastric cancer group showed significant differences compared with othertwo groups (χ2=32.59, P <0.01), and precancerous lesions of gastric cancer groupshowed no significant difference from control group(χ2=0.02, P>0.05). Theexpression of FLIP showed relation to the gastric cancer metastasis and TNM staging;(3) FAF1and FLIP have expressed no correlation (P>0.05).Conclusion (1) The expression rate of FAF1in normal tissue and the tissue of gastriccancer and precancerous lesions of gastric cancer is gradually reducing, and the lackof FAF1expression in gastric cancer cells may play an important role in thedifferentiation, occurrence and development of gastric cancer cell. The expression ofFLIP protein in gastric cancer tissue was significantly higher than gastricprecancerous lesions and normal tissues, suggesting that the occurrence of gastriccancer and FLIP protein abnormal expression have some relation. The combineddetection of two levels may provide an important basis for the early discovery, diagnosis of gastric cancer.(2)FAF1protein expression in gastric cancer tissue level has showed relation to the degree of differentiation, and the expression level of FLIPprotein in gastric cancer has showed relation to cancer metastasis and TNM stage.(3)The expression of FAF1protein and FLIP protein has no correlation.
