Objective:To explore the correlation between p53 Protein, mi R375 and clinico‐ pathologic factors, and to understand whether they can be used to predict the occurrence of gastric cancer. Methods:The p53 protein was detected by Elisa and the mi R375 was detected by Real‐time fluorescence quantitative PCR(R T-q PCR) in 35 patients with gastric cancer, 35 patients with chronic atrophic gastritis and 35 patients with chronic superficial gastritis. The changes of P53 protein and mi R375 levels in different disease groups and the relationship of them and clinicopathologic factors were analyzed.Results:1. Levels of P53 protein were 18.61±2.78,22.10±1.71 and 26.01±4.53(n g/ml) in CSG group,CAG group and GC group, respectively. It increased orderly in these three group(p<0.05). This result showed that the level of p53 protein increases with the aggravation of the gastric lesions. 2. The expression levels of mi R375 were 1.41±0.56, 2.76±0.39 and 2.75±0.21 in GC group, CAG group and CSG group, respectively. It was significantly lower in GC group than those in CAG group and CSG group(p<0.01), but there was no significant difference in mi R375 of the CAG group and CSG group(p=0.73). 3. In GC patients, there were statistical differences in the expression of mi R375 among different tumor diameter, lymph node metastasis condition, differentiation degree, depth of invasion and TNM stage(P<0.05). However, there were significant differences in the expression of p53 Protein only in differentiation degree and depth of invasion in GC(p<0.05). 4. The level of p53 protein was negatively correlated with mi R375 in GC group.Conclusion:1. The expression of mi R375 in gastric cancer group is lower those in CSG group and CAG group. P53 protein orderly increase in CSG group, CAG group and GC group, which indicate that it rises with aggravation of gastric lesions. 2. The combined detection of p53 protein and mi R375 has a certain reference value for the diagnosis of gastric cancer.
