All along, the quality of products is a very important part of manufacturing enterprises. In order to strengthen the quality control management, many manufacturing enterprises have established the QC group, to improve the quality of various quality problems in the production process. But the QC process for enterprise widespread redundant processes, methods ineffective phenomenon, specific performance in QC methods not based on the use of the environment to adjust, resulting in quality problems analysis of the causes of inaccurate, consuming a lot of time; and QC process redundancy procrastination, so that the quality of control for low efficiency, time delay, even lead to customer dissatisfaction. To solve these problems, we need to improve the use of the QC method to adjust, to streamline the QC process, in order to achieve the effect of optimizing the QC process.This paper selects company X product A’s quality problems of the QC process as the target QC process for investigation and analysis. This paper firstly analyzes the existing QC process of company X, and the problems in the process and method are identified. Followed with literature research method and qualitative analysis method, modification the original process QC fishbone diagram level indicators based on a product’s characteristics; then applied survey research method modified to add the second grade indexes of raw fish bone diagram; combined with the actual survey data and expert scoring method of index with entropy method to calculate, on the basis of the entropy of second level indicators are sorted, constructing an improved fishbone diagram model. Finally, the effect of QC process and method before and after improvement is analyzed and improved, which can optimize the QC process and improve the efficiency.This study found that, fishbone diagram model improved after Entropy Method can be used to reduce the time in finding causes during the QC process, to improve the efficiency of cause finding. In addition, based on ways to improve and streamline the flow of two entry points for QC process optimization, optimization effect is more visible. In the long run, the index may be established in accordance with the data accumulated indicator database product quality and reduce the duplication of work in similar QC processes, to quickly locate pain points, so that short-term QC process optimization can play a long-term effect.
