With the rapid development of modern logistics industry, logistics industry plays a more important role in the national economy. Under the background of information, logistics industry faces tough competition, and private logistics enterprise managers generally recognize that human resource management is critical to business. However, the common problems faced by China’s private logistics enterprises are how to diagnose the status quo of employee morale and HR problems, how to improve employee motivation, how to reduce employee turnover rate, how to maximize return on investment in human capital and improve business performance. Under this practical background, employee engagement has been confirmed closely related to corporate performance, and it has become an important topic.Through the employee engagement survey of Company A which is one of the private enterprises of logistics industry, this paper discusses the factors associated with employee engagement, enriches the theory of employee engagement and provides theoretical support in enhancing employee engagement for China’s private logistics enterprise managers.This paper adopts the method of literature research, questionnaire and data analysis, analyses the large sample of Company A, and reaches the following conclusions: First, rewards, benefits, recognition, career opportunities, work tasks, resources, company policies, performance evaluation, work Life balance and company reputation have a significant positive impact on employee engagement of Company A. Second, in the 10 significant factors, Company A needs to maintain the score of work tasks, resources, company policies, company reputation and work Life balance, and improve the score of rewards, benefits, recognition, career opportunities and performance evaluation. Third, in the demographic variables, company A needs to focus on the groups of the generation Y and the undergraduate academic staff. Company A is representative in private logistics enterprises. Therefore the above three research conclusions provide important reference in improving employee engagement for private logistics enterprises.
