With the development of urbanization and people’s demands for travel, urban rail transit has been developing and playing an irreplaceable role in recent years. Various cities have been planning their transportation network,and the state has strict rules in urban rail transit, that is, to give priority to domestic, supplemented by foreign. Urban rail transit system mainly includes the construction of facilities and related services. Now, infrastructure construction has been basically localization, and related services is somewhat lagging behind. Now, Automatic Fare Collection (referred to as AFC) is an important part of the urban rail transit service. It directly represents the image of urban rail transit. Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) is a part of the system. Therefore, it is necessary to do some research and realize the localization of the ticket vending machine.This paper mainly describes the design and development of the payment subsystem in TVM system, moreover the system is based on the Wuxi metro line two. First, the AFC system and TVM system are briefly introduced. Then, the overall design of the TVM system is given based on the requirement. Sequentially, the technology and methods used in this project are described.Then,a hierarchical architecture is designed and implemented in the TVM system. At the same time, the relevant test of the implementation of the payment sub system has been taking. Finally, the article points out the shortcomings and areas for improvement of existing systems.
