With the rapid growth of urban economy, some progress has been made on urban rail transit construction and network froms and expands gradually as the lines increase. The degree of coupling between some lines is so high, making the phenomenon that the passengers across multiple lines are more pronounced. Due to the special feature of our country’s rail transit, urban rail transit project usually involves multiple investors, the construction side and operator side. So, it’s particularly important to set up a reasonable model of the ticketing sub-clear to ensure the interests of all investors and operators are fully guaranteed, this article describes the background of the ticket clearing and the situation at different cities and the necessity of clearing the problem. It focuses primarily on both the domestic and abroad part of the scholars in the research results and application status. And some problems on ticket clearing are discussed. And then makes a detail comment on the basic operations related to the ticket clearing problem. And the impact of various factors is analyzed, the basic concepts are understood as well as the commly used methods and their characteristics are defined.By a deep study on the clearing models existing, the clearing method based on multi-path selection is proposed. The data fitting and maximum likelihood estimation methods are used to estimate relevant parameters accordingly and the impedance of the trip is amended. Finally, a model, based on the line site, is established to determine the distribution ratio of the valid path and lines. At last, the Shenzhen Metro is took as an example of the calculation and sensitivity analysis is made on some factors, for example the effective path selection threshold and restrictions on the transfer times, providing some methods to improve this model. In this article, passenger’s travel time and line site are made as the main measures, while search for the valid path meeting the various constraints and quantify the path’s distribution ratio. The model could match Shenzhen Metro’s actual situation, also could promote the ticket clearing in a better way, encouraging investors and operators to make more efforts to urban rail transit and providing reference and learning value in some extent.
